ugh i just heard that logitech discontinued the g9x(yea i know im a bit late :D), that really sucks because i feel like theres no other mouse comparable to it in terms of its shape and weight. and the minor sensor issues it has isnt very noticeable if u use it on hardpad such as the 4HD
o well i guess ill just have to stock up on a few g9x's and wait until the g900 comes out
edit: unless someone has a better recommendation? i palmed my g9x without having any of the grips on it, it felt slightly too small to palm but in general i didnt have much of an issue with it

minor sensor issues
Lol, 7% inconsistency

: D, my abyssus doesnt have any jitter so i might switch to that. that being said is there any way to get the dpi close to 1000ish? it has the dumbest dpi increments =/
edit: im currently playing on a 4hd and my abyssus is set to 1800 dpi(g9x had 1050 dpi)
|
The best will surely be the setting that halves speed, ending up at 900 dpi if you choose 1800 dpi for the Abyssus. You can't get anything better with 3500 dpi. If you divide that by four, you have 875 dpi.

ill just stick to 1800 6/10 sens in the driver settings, 5/10 felt a bit too slow

But 1800 is nowhere near 1k, that's a really high end sens too. I guess i don't know what's normal for palm, because pretty much nobody uses it

Are you talking about the Razer drivers? You might want to try to ditch those as the Abyssus does not have anything special going on that might need a driver. You could go back to the Windows default stuff. That way you wouldn't have to fiddle with anything at a tournament PC, I imagine.
You could try resetting your brain by forcing yourself to play with 450 dpi and Windows 6/11 = 1:1 settings for a few hours, then switching to 1800 dpi and Windows 4/11 = 0.5 (that's SC2's 31 % to 34 %, I think).

Oh, Abyssus has driver support? I heard it was locked to 450/1800/3500
if it does, razer sens is an ok way to multiply DPI

razer abyssus can now use razer synapse 2.0. and I think only razer abyssus has the ability to set to 450dpi, cause others mouse form razer only can have a 100dpi increment which bad. Still seeking answers on how to set my razer death adder 3500dpi to 450dpi.

does the abyssus have an onboard memory? if it does then i wouldnt need to change anything(redling drivers etc.) in a tournament, if it doesnt then yea that would be quite problematic

Nope! There are only those two switches on its butt, and that's it for "memory".

well fml, time to buy a kinzu =/
|
|
too big =/ id rather get something in the 110-115 range

It looks kinda wierd, but give a CM storm xornet a try? It's roughly a g9x shape and size, way better sensor - Avago 3050 optical (500, 1000, 2000 dpi settings), omron switches. And it's dirt cheap compared to other gaming mice ~30usd.Review Alternatively Tt azurues mini? Roughly abyssus sized and shaped. 400, 800, 1600 optical sensor. I hear it has some prediction tho. Quite cheap as well ~40usd.Review on tl Just don't forget razer and logitech aren't the only companies out there.

does the razer krait 2013 have an onboard memory?
edit: apparently it doesnt and holy shit is it thin(52 mm, compared to 63/64 for the abysus and kinzu). i like squeezing the bottom part of my mouse in order to have a solid grip on it so i dont think it would suit me all that well t.t
|
I'm using the Abyssus, set the switch on the mouse to 1800 and then set the razer drivers sens to 5,5 so that's 990 dpi. If you don't want to use the razer drivers you could set the switch to 1800 and then use 4/11 in windows so that would be like 900dpi.
