I have a Razer Naga about 6 months old that I bought for MMOs but its my only mouse. Recently it has been double clicking quiet often when I single click something.
Example: Try to click 1 probe and tell it to go somewhere, but I actually selected ALL my probes because It double clicked and they all go.. VERY annoying.
Anyone know how to fix this? Is it a driver thing or do I need to clean it?
Any help would be great, thanks.

From my experience, Razer mice tends to be very easy to click. I think you should decrease your mouse double-click speed in the Control Panel.

Open up the Razer Drive and check your double click speed settings.

i had this problem too randomly one day, so i just fiddled with the settings

it happens when the mouse wears out T_T time to get a new one i had a razer mouse for 3 years and it happens more and more over time

I actually had this problem on my deathadder. Check for driver updates (fixed the problem for me), if not the clicker might need to be cleaned. I dunno how to open up the Naga, but I'm sure google could help you out.

I have this issue with my deathadder as well. Seems like razer products start doing this after 6-12 months, which is a shame since I really like their products.

Sounds like the the clicker is wearing out, this happens to my mouse every 6-12 and I need to replace it.
I use my computer a lot(work+gaming).

Probably this. I could be wrong, but I think there's a metal plate/spring in the mouse switch which bends when you press it (to finish the circuit), and snaps back into shape once you stop. As the switch wears out, the plate losses it's ability to snap back into shape properly/quickly, and some how the mouse processor thinks you're pressing it more than once.
If you have soldering experience, you can open the mouse, find the switch part number (usually they're omron d2fc-f-7n switches), buy some on ebay for a few bucks, then swap them out.
Otherwise, just RMA the mouse.

The same with my salmosa after 6months. The quality of razer mouses is very bad (i had lahesis earler and it was not usable after half year becouse of losing signal and sometimes jumping to the edge of screen). My next mouse for sure will not be razer.

Had the same problem with my old mouse (a simple but effective gigabyte one), took it apart but didnt fix problem. Had to replace it. Though now i have a Razer Deathadder and very happy =)

I had this happen to my original diamond back after 3 years of use. The problem is with the clicker wearing out and it starts taking the shape of the white button. I actually completely fixed it by applying a little bit of super glue to the clicker so that it filled the space that was wearing out. It's been a few months and still good as new.

i had exactly the same problem Zyzxx. And the settings wont change anything in that case.
The reason can be that your mouse is dirty inside. What i did it getting a screwdriver, opening the mouse, gettting out EVERY single part and cleaning each one seperately(there was alot of thick dust). Google for an instruction on how to dismantle the Naga if your unsure about it.
Good Luck^^

happened on all of my razer mice... it wast any kind of software problem, it was just worn out. When you open the mouse, you will notice that the plastic pads that are clicking on the "inside" buttons are worn out on the exact spot it connects. I just filled out the space with some super glue, it worked perfectly. Im sure there are better ways but this was handy and its holding so yeah... no complaints.
