Delete all pt-br files from the sc2 folders, apply the patch, and wait for the new relocalizer. This way you don't have to reinstall the whole game again.

Ran the relocalizer, tell it to relocalize 126(pt-br) to 124(en-us) (reverse process). Deleted all pt-br files from the sc2 folders, applied the blizz patch. Ran the new relocalizer v0.10. Game is running fine, no need to re-install.

I put back to ptbr, installed the patch, it went through without any problem, but now it crashes before the logon screen. Do I install the new relocalizer and go to Eng and try again?

I haven't forgotten about you. It's hard for me to easily test Korean clients as the only copy I have is on my home PC and I can't download it at work without bittorrent.

I thought it would allow my US "StarCraft II installation to work in an unsupported region" of LA. However, a lot of people on this thread are saying that this is not the case and that if I want to play in LA I need to buy another localized copy of the game. I am so confused to what exactly GSC SC2 Relocalizer does. Is this what I need to do: "Borrow" a SC2 LA localized copy, then activate it with my legit US cd key, and lastly use this tool to allow me to play in LA? Can someone clear this up for me. I would greatly appreciate it!

See it this way. Either you install two copies of the game, EU and US. Or you install EU and the localizer, and you can still play on US. It simply saves time unless the patch screws you over. But you still need to buy the game for the two different regions.

I would greatly appreciate it! The original goal of this tool is to allow users to play Starcraft 2 using a language not supported by their region. For example, it allows me to use my enUS client to play in the Taiwan Region, because I own a Taiwan copy of Starcraft II. Primary use comes from people who want to use English in their home region, but Blizzard won't support it, such as Latin and South America. People who have a Spanish or Portuguese copies of SC2 can download a copy of the English client, use the relocalizer, and use their English client with their Latin America key. The bottom line is this: You require a valid SC2 license for every region you wish to play in. My tool simply lets you use whatever client you wish to play in those regions you are licensed to play in.

So im just gonna re install everything, huge waste of time.... any way to avoid this problem next patch ? I'll do what I can. I have very limited time outside of work. I haven't actually played a SC2 match since August. (link)
