Cooler Master Storm Scout http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119196 Antec 300 illusion http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129066 Antec 900 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129021 NZXT Apollo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146025 Lian Li Lan Cool http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112239 Cooler Master HAF 912 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119233 Or any other case that you think is good. They all have really good reviews from newegg so its hard to distinguish which is better. They are all in the 50-100 price range. The cheaper the better but if I need to spend 100 to get the best case of that bunch then i'll do it.

I think ive narrowed it down to the Cooler Master Storm (cheap), Antec 300 illusion (cheaper) and the Lian Li (quality). decisions decisions.

900€(~1270$)(screen and peripherals not included) What is your resolution 1920*1080 What are you using it for ABSOLUTELY RAPING SC2 @MAX. I can't afford to lag with this PC. What is your upgrade cycle I don't give a fuck about this, every summer I'll work some and get small stuff like an SSD or a RAM upgrade, things of that sort When do you plan on build it This month(August 2011) Do you plan on overclocking Sure. CPU and GPU, but I'm thinking of buying a new GPU if needed next year Do you need an OS No. I can get the W7 Ult for 30€. Don't ask. SLI/Crossfire No need. Where are you buying the parts from www.globaldata.pt (I am knowledgeable on this sort of things, [almost] every part has a reason behind it) i7 2600K (This is why I said 'almost'): 268€-380$ (We have an insane IT tax /) GSkill 8GB 1600MHz CL9 (cheap as fuck, 58€-82$, totally worth it) AsRock Z68 PRO3 (felt like it)100€-141$ Antec 300 (cheap and reliable(?) brand) 60€-84$ Seagate 500GB SATA III 16 MB 36€-50$ Some Asus Drive(is it the right word?) 20€-30$ Some Kingston card reader 10€ 15$ Corsair CX600W (I know this system consumes, what, 400W? I just don't feel like buying a supply case for the next 4 years)64€-90$ Powercolor 6950 2GB(may need the extra VRAM since SC2 is not the only game I'll be playing with cranked AA)240€-340$ Thanks in advance

If you're looking for some LED's and aesthetics, the cheaper you go, the more inconvenient, flimsy, or louder your case gets. Granted, that applies in general, but flashy does tend to be counted as a feature, and you tend to pay for those. Newegg reviews are only worth a damn for finding out what kind of issues components tend to have, IMO, they don't make for a good statistical sampling, and people are generally lying about their actual tech knowledge, and not comparing to a functional baseline.

- For gaming a 2600k has (nearly) no adventages over a 2500k. The 2600k is only better if you are allso rendering. If you are not, go for the 2500k. - If you want to save some for nearly no performance loss get the cheapest 1333 mhz memory kit. - Antec cases are not that good in general. I'd go for a coolermaster, lian-li, silverstone or maybe a fractal design case. But I gues its personal preferance. If you really like it, keep it. - Seaside? I think you mean seagate? - some asus drive, dont know what you mean by that. - Corsair CX aren't that great. Id invest some more in your PSU, its a very important part. You need a quality 450-500W PSU. - You dont really need more than 1gb, but I gues if you allways want to max AA its fine. Easy way to save a bit with no/very little performance loss is to get the 1gb version. Dont spear/read portugese, so cant really help you finding components on that site.

Thanks man, kinda what I expected to hear, but, relative to the CPU, rendering? what do you mean?BTW, RAM is cheap as fuck, I'm serious. 8GB 1600 AND 8G 1333 have a 10 € difference lol.(both CL9)

The decision, obviously, will be yours.

If you dont do any movie editing or 3d image editing or something along those lines, you are probably better of getting the 2500k and saving 70-80 euro. 1600 mhz ram isn't wrong, but 1333mhz just gives you a really easy way to save 10-20 euro's. The difference between 1600mhz ram and 1333mhz ram is pretty much unnoticeable unless you want to benchmark. As for the PSU, I checked the site (as far as i could understand it) and saw that there is a very limited offer. You are pretty much stuck with corsair or Enermax. Enermax is really expensive but mostly high quality. I'd probably go with the CORSAIR GS-600W due to lack of other options. The Corsair CX 500 wouldnt be a bad choise either though.

For the price, it doesn't hurt, but if you aren't ready to fight with it, it's money wasted, just like buying a 2500k and P67 board without wanting to OC.

Edit: I'm not going to lie, I'm having second thoughts about it and I'm thinking maybe I should wait another week and do more research before I buy. Idk. :
