The most important factor for me would be that it has to have a very good noise canceling mic. I have this really, really loud heater that comes on randomly and and everyone says it's pretty noticeable/annoying. So I need a good headset that could dampen that out as much as possible without me needing to yell into it to get heard. Oh, it also has to have a USB connection because for someone reason the mic jacks on my Vista laptop don't work well with the 3.5 mm connectors (a common problem I've read).

I think what's in his range is plantronics gamecon 777, Thermaltake eSports Shock, then on the cheaper end logitech G330 I think all of them i've listed are not fully usb but rather come with a usb dac that you can use if need be.

At the moment I have a Razer Deathadder and a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate as my gaming gear, and I LOVE them. People might say Razer products are all crap and everything, but omg. The Razer Deathadder is the perfect mouse, I can't imagine a better mouse than it, even if it cost thousands of dollars. The Blackwidow also feels like a really solid keyboard. So with that said, and as a huge Razer fan, since I am so pleased with their products, I am really thinking of getting the Razer Megalodons, however I haven't seen much talk about them in this thread. So if anyone has them, are they good? I hear saw lots of talk about the PC350 which look beautiful too. I am looking for a cool design that has superb sound quality. Doesn't need to have the best mic as I don't talk too much, so if anyone can help out a fellow TLer, all help is appreciated!

I had Sennheiser PC150 for about 6 years and my brother also has some wireless headphones from Sennheiser (also 6 years) so I was familiar with the quality of their products. Since I wanted good quality headphones with a microphone I ordered PC 330 G4ME. It cost me about 130€. I used them for a couple of days now and they are great. The microphone is also good and it switches off when you place it into an upright position. What I really like is the volume control as it is integrated into the right side of the headphones. No more searching for the volume control for me ![]() I just quoted myself since I already posted this on another thread.
