The personal connection I felt with the Raynor in SC1 character cannot be transferred to this new dude, because there is no relation between them. There's no way I can suspend belief enough to take these two to be the same person at all. Trying to imagine the SC2 Raynor in any part of his role in SC1 just results in absurdity. They don't even have the same beard growth. Unless raynor got reverse asian eye surgery and hair plugs, this is bs.

I don't think the new look is bad but I always associated Raynor with Bruce Willis and now he doesn't look like bad ass Bruce at all.

To be honest, I could care less what he looks like as long as they bring back the original voice actor. The fact is, if they hire a new person to voice Raynor, it's going to force a psychological reset and that, coupled with his new appearance will make him completely different from the old raynor. Actually, essentially, he would be a completely new character, the only thing in common being the name.

Let's hope they bring back the voice actor.

I think if you upgraded the old Raynor graphic to today's standard, he would look ugly and retarded. And that is certainly not what we want in a hero, is it? I welcome the renegade, "I drink because I am not able to save the world" Raynor.
