Yeah there’s exploiting an opponent’s tendency and there’s just actual abusive plays in a particular meta. Dark and recently Serral I feel have just cleverly punished a few of Maru’s tendencies in recent times. Especially with Dark as we’ve had series in the not-too-distant past where Maru read Dark like a book and survived his shenanigans relatively unscathed and absolutely smacked him once the late game came in. Abusive is pain like Trap’s GSL final against Rogue where he wasn’t even particularly greedy or cutting corners hugely. Not a great time for PvZ all-told Was a fun finals day and honestly I completely wrote Dark off so fair play to the lad! Inspiration from a fellow parent that that’s no excuse for me not to ladder so I’ll have to find another :p Great write-up as per usual! | ||

But Dark has tried to make bad comps work for long enough that he gets the pass for actually playing strong builds. It's like when TY finally said screw it and cheesed every single game the year he finally won (2) Code S. No one cared because he'd served his duty as an honourable player. | ||

Considering that the Saudis also initiated the EWC Partner Program, there is a chance they will push the entire thing even further, so that the EPT would actually re-name to something like EWC Circuit. Should there be another EPT run, it also would make sense to announce it somewhat quickly, since the first Masters tournament would probably still be in 2025. But sure, could also be that there will be no news whatsoever (at best a little tease) and we get infos much later on Twitter | ||
