Last time I checked everyone and their mom were using wired mouse with bungee. I remember everyone were against wireless because what you gonna do if suddenly battery dies or connection lost? When this started to become a thing? When wireless mice switched from bluetooth to wifi. Once that happened delay and connection became way less of an issue. Wireless is so much nicer to play with IMO.

If anyone is interested, you can get the Logitech Wireless Pro for $50 if you don't mind the blue League of Legends branding. I think it's very much worth the $50 personally. The normal black and white colors usually still go for $75+, so a pretty hefty discount on the blue ones! You don't realize how nice it is until your cable is gone and you're like, "wow that sure was annoying".

for example, the Logitech "LightSpeed" technology is claiming just this. Here is a good reddit thread I found about some test results. https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/99qq4a/about_that_1ms_lightspeed_wireless_technology/

IMO your playing surface and the mouses friction coefficient impact this way more. I think that if you have a playing surface your comfortable with, then a lot of it just comes down to grip and feel preference. I still prefer wired mice though, maybe I'm just used to it. I use a razer naga (i think this is still Lambos go to mouse, but maybe not anymore). Not so much for the buttons but the finger grip on the right. I have always found that using a claw grip on mice is uncomfortable for long gaming sessions, but it can be harder to get precise control with a palm grip, the finger grip solved this problem for me since I can squeez the mouse between my fingers and my thumb without needing to contract my joints for long periods of time. it also feels like your pointing at something which I like.

I've started to use Mamba Wireless like a year ago, happy with it for gaming and casual purposes, and you can happily play FPS/RTS We prolly haven't noticed how the quality of the wireless devices raised significantly in last years

I saw hero with the wireless superlight pro and ended up buying one. charges from 0 to 100% in 5 minutes. it's so sexy. worth the money imo I think mouse bungees were more so used for wires that slipped off the back of your desk and providing consistent weight and resistance. But also cables were typically in that really heavy plastic tubing. These days you kids get fancy braided cables which are 10x lighter.

Thats how ive been using it. Even tho watching Dark's Player Cam at IEM was a shocker. His Bungee was going ham like it was a rod with a big fish pulling on it. Btw is there any info on what wireless the players use most often? Is it just the G Pro or are there alternative mice?

G Pro wireless is a popular choice, but there was a zowie wireless that came out recently and I know cs players love their zowie mice. I recently got the Razer Basilisk after being a GPro user for a few years and am enjoying how it fits in my hand a little bit better than the gpro, but I've always felt like Razer mice were "made" for my hands.

BTW if you want to know more about Wireless Mouse check out UpATree's stream and ask him there. He has like a dozen of mice coming from different gaming peripheral company and known to suggest and recommend mice for different SC2 pros

Compiling a small list for my sake: Razer DeathAdder V2 X Hyperspeed 60 € Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro 155 € Logitech G Pro Wireless 95 € Logitech G305 45 € I think you can get a special mousepad with the wireless dongle built into it, like the one Maru used in IEM (POWERPLAY charging system?), that also charges your mouse without ever having to worry about it. I just use a normal large mousepad and the separate wireless dongle coiled up on my desk. if you have the budget for a V3 Pro, add the Superlight Pro X to your list also. seems to be the most popular wireless mouse with the sc2 pros. it is an excellent mouse, though mine came with a busted middle-mouse wheel. not sure if I just got unlucky, or if it's a QA issue, bad batch, or whatever, but no issues with the replacement. it is a joy to play with. I recommend a SteelSeries QcK Edge with the stitched edges. the stitched edges are a MUST because unstitched edges fray out and become warped over time. the large-sized one is really nice. those SteelSeries pads have been around for a long time. tried and tested! had the same mousepad when wings of liberty launched and have only replaced it once (again, make sure you get one with stitched edges!). you can wet clean it over and over using soapy water and it won't damage. ![]()

Weird as it sounds, the best wireless mice have surpassed the best wired mice for gaming performance.
