Can we put this " post military" meme to bed once and for all please?
Men can be in their physical prime even into their 40s in some cases if they stay in shape mentally and physically.
"I'm getting to old" is just some poor excuse guys make when they start loosing skill because they just cba to put in the same effort as they used to because they just don't have the same amount of passion they had when they were younger. It's not because they are physically or mentally unable to do so.
I'm 38 years old and still a have an average reaction speed of 176ms same as in my early 20s. I was never super gifted at multi tasking but it has not gotten any worse either.
As a guy gamer pushing 40 it is hard not to get annoyed ;D

It is not a meme though?
It is not only about age but also about the body being too worn out: it is very probable future KR / foreign esport players will last longer than the current pros because they will develop healthy habits from better knowledge (ie. staff / medic etc) from an earlier age.
But at this point the current gen of pros players kinda destroyed their body some way or another more than they could have I am willing to bet.
It is similar as in MMA: if you have a 30yo guy with no MMA experience, his body will be considered "fresher" for the sport than that of a 25yo who started competing at 19yo.
So even if technically you could play at 20yo level in your 30s as a progamer, the current generation probably won't have that luxury (imho, I could be totally wrong about this subject)
