It’s misleading though, in game 3 this was a specific build (Cure popularized it by being able to destroy Serral / Reynor with ping with it… a few months ago) with very early double factory fast burrow mine into lots of mine drops.
Clem style usually does not do such mine drops / this build, and uses them a bit later on aggressively but not specifically to kill drones / defending zerglings.

I disagree. Maru was more known for his camping style if the zerg got a little a head in the midgame. clem is the one known for beeing always in the face of the opponent on 2-3 locations. and no one is doing it as fast as clem, what also ty said on his stream some month ago.

If you watch Maru games long enough, you would know he already did the multi-prong attack thing against Zerg way back, especially againts LingBane or RoachRavager army, just watch GSL Super Tournament 1 in 2020 against Dark where he drop literally everywhere on the map. Maru only started doing more defensive turtle build last year against LurkerViper and BroodLord Infestor endgame. Its not a "Clem style" because Clem didnt invent it, although Clem might be the best at doing it currently due to his micro.

Why, why, why did I bet on Solar?! The guy always lets me down, but I thought this time he looked like the clear second best player but he gets absolutely clowned on by sOs.
I need to follow my own fucking instincts sometimes. The guy just doesn't have it. He's missing that "thing" that makes Rogue and Dark champions. He just doesn't have it. His best matches of the night were all against Maru, once he lost to him, he just fell apart. SMH.

Also Clem actually played against Maru and found him even better mechanically. HeroMarine also was impressed about Maru's "perfection" when he played him for the first time. It's difficult to be sure now if Maru is fully healed up from his shoulder issues, and we don't get to see him that much offline against Reynor and Serral so he doesn't play his usual style there.
Both players are gifted mechanically though.
