Anyway, I think that on the sc2 page you can see the Immortal animation aiming his cannons up. Hopefully, that means they can hit air.

Uh, stalkers are the successor to the dragoon. Immortals are further up the tech. They're pretty useless in the dragoon/stalker phase of the game anyways, since they're anti heavy artillery which don't come until later.
