News:
Team OSC Elite is a new competitive division of OSC. It’s primary goal is to work closely with players, support them to achieve their goals in eSports, and see both individual and team success in online and offline events across the world! We want to support top talent and develop new heroes across the eSports landscape. OSC Elite will initially exist purely as a SC2 squad, but we have plans to expand into other titles in the future.
Our squad of elite SC2 players will represent the organisation in the WCS + OSC circuits, our new OSC Team Championship, and various other competitions.
We are looking for more top talent SC2 to support! If you think you have the dedication, results, talent or desire to go further with your Starcraft, feel free to apply!

Comment from OSC Executive Director Eddie Edwards on OSC Elite’s announcement:
I’m really excited about our new team OSC Elite (first announced on Dankshrine Ep 49), the players we’ve recruited, and what we can achieve together! Over the last 12 months OSC were partners in the creation, financing, and running of team OSC-ROOT. Working with and supporting the players closely over that time was a great experience. While unfortunately the partnership recently dissolved, many at OSC, myself included, were in favour of continuing such a project, so it’s great that we’ll now be able to build on that with the creation of our own team, and a long term commitment to the project.
The first players to join the squad, Cham, Azure, Has and DemiLove, are all established top competitors in their respective regions, and have shown they are capable of performing at a high level in the WCS and OSC global leagues. They should form a great foundation for OSC Elite.
Cham and DemiLove are #1 + #2 in the OSC World Rankings respectively, with 31 tournament wins already in 2017 between them, so securing both was a priority for the new team. Additionally Cham is currently #9 in the WCS Standings, with great results at WCS Austin + Jonkoping, which sees him well in the running to qualify for Blizzcon this year!
Has was the next highest available free agent in the WCS Standings (#16), and a player everyone loves to watch, so we’re really excited to work with him. Azure may not be a household name globally, but he performs very well within the SEA region, and has been showing great improvement and activity in the OSC Online circuit over the last couple of years. He’s one to watch in the second half of 2017-2018.
We’re confident all these players will be great brand ambassadors for the organisation, and continue achieving impressive results for their fans, and fans of our new team.
We will be looking at adding a few more players to the squad in the coming days-weeks. It was important for us to announce while still in July, despite ongoing talks with some other great candidates, so we can start accumulating points towards the OSC Team Championship asap. We have a long way to catch up, but are up for the challenge!
There’s also some major league news coming in the next 2-3 weeks, so lookout for that!
