aLive went bio against Ryung's mech for 1 game but it didn't really go amazingly well. And then in the second game both of them just massed cyclones.
Maybe it gets better when top Terrans like TY and ByuN play TvT though.
By all logic mass siege tanks should just annihilate mass cyclone, especially due to how short ranged they are. I guess the definitive answer will come once Blizz rolls out the patch on ladder.
In my experience so far, the cyclone is so good that when I go seige tank heavy mech they just run in and snipe CC's in about 4 seconds. It's actually ridiculous. You can't expand, the cyclone player has all the map control and can always force a base trade. I've had no success vs cyclone heavy mech so far.
Okay I made it home in time to update the OP and shit during the matches. Seems like we're not getting a professional English cast live from the studio, that's kind of a shame, I was somewhat hoping that would happen. Either way hoping for some good games today and less cyclone cheese. Youtube for today:

I've never quite understood why they use a mix of English and Hangul. You'll have the players and tourney name written in Hangul but Best of 5 and Ro16 in English.

Writing ro16 requires 4 keyboard clicks, whilst 16 강 is written with 5. Efficiency at its best ;d
