SC2 Proleague Discontinued; SKT, KT, SGK, CJ disband - Pag…

Regardless of the situation, we will still action upon "dead game" comments. As this is a sensitive issue for SC2 fans, please do not come into this thread and talk about SC2 players switching over to BW. This thread is also not about bashing Blizzard, David Kim, or the WCS system.

Just outright killed the game in that country With most of the teams disbanding, I guess no GSL next year too.

Long seasons, matches every week, sick linups with the best players in the world, crazy bo1 snipes, ceremonies, rivalries and on top of that the almighty FPL with its own dedicated threads and analyses. It were great times, I'll miss them. I already do

I said SC2 Korea was going to die. 4 Starleague in a year with less money ? Legacy of the void is shit. Nerchio able to beat Inno, Zest, Maru... Yeah what a joke. HOTS was very good and the popularity was growing in Korea. But Blizzard tries to save an already dead game in Europe/USA. Great result : now the game is finally dead everywhere. After Legacy and Diablo 3 i think Blizzard if finally dead too. Wont talk about Heroes, Overwatch. Blizzard is now the new EA Games/Activision. At laest we have Arkane, CD Project now.

No more SPL, but 200k for the Blizzcon winner and 200k for the winner of WESG... hard to say sc2 is dead haha

It is online, only the playoffs are offline. From my perspective, I would even say the future of Korean Starcraft scene relies on China, we have plenty of SC2 events coming up and even more money being put into it.

Unfortunately, it's only now, after 6 years, they're seriously adding proper features, which was way too late.
