This statement is so wrong in a level that it's not even funny. Marriage is one of the biggest commitments in life especially for East Asians. People quit job to get married is very common in Asia and pissing off your in-law family is the last thing to do here. And if you think not breaking the law that can result in a very harsh punishment is better than forfeiting Blizzcon then you are either very young or very naive.

I think Polt had no option but harsh punishment or go to army.

So yeah not the law you want to break.

Yo....didn't you read the quote that I was agreeing with? The quote said that the biggest SC2 tournament of the year seems less important to Hydra and Polt. And I said that he was not wrong in this statement. Hydra does view marriage as more important (obviously), and Polt does view the summons from his country as more important than a video game tournament (obviously). So....I'm not sure how you read my statement completely backwards.

You have to do it till you are 28yo or you have to leave South Korea forever.

Regarding the future of SC2 you never know .For me brood war was awesome because it created passions, beautiful moments in my life before I was even aware that Korea had a competitive scene. By the time I discovered that SC 2 was coming out and it cashed in on the fame of sc1 . And the passion of the people involved followed sc2 . You can say what you want about its bleak future but brood war esports international scene has never looked as good as sc2 international scene. And there is still passion for the game. I watched the kespa cup and I was so happy to hear the commentators enjoy and love the game. I loved that Neeb won. I'm looking forward to homestory cup and blizzcon. If foreigners want to create something now is the time. Korea doesn't have to be mekka of esports. They have to be the best at it to keep this title.

As long as those pigs live, many male Koreans will be forced to waste their 2 years for that. Really sucks for Polt. I already wasted 2 years there not long ago. It's so funny that your name is "TheHumanLife". I rest my case.
