Sorry if I'm ignorant of any sort of registration dates or w/e, but this seems silly.

edit: actually america is in the same position. I know there is no military enforcement but if america calls you, you better don't fefuse it otherwise you have to leave america permanently very likely.

Cant really blame korea either, i mean with the north threatening nukes on your capital. Honestly, polt isnt more than a gaming celebrity, and although hes much more known than Random Korean XY he still has to go do his military service.

This is a case of the korean military saying "NOW POLT!" Blizzcon be damned.

we have a non Korean winning a Korean event and we still have 2 events that will earn the winner 200k each. and keeping in mind all the match fixing scandals at the end of last year having us loose some of the greatest of all time. i have never been so hyped about starcraft even if i lost my all time favorite player i have become a fan of players outside my favorite race.

And it makes it even less understandable that he originally signed a multi-year contract with EnVy. Did he not realize?

Maybe he was counting on some sort of exemption rule he misunderstood or something like that..

It seems like most wcs player just moved up 1 rank and got seeded accordingly(#1 wcs vs #8kr, 2#wcs vs #7kr etc.). For some reason Drogo, Elazer and Violet seem to be on the wrong spot though. Like e.g. Dark as #1kr should be playing vs #8 wcs(drogo) but instead he plays vs violet who is #6 now with the new seeding. Seems a bit odd to seed everyone based on the wcs ranking except for 3 players.
