He qualified because he earned enough points.

If Drogo doesn't get 0-4 in his group, then he will have done better than Lilbow. Lilbow actually qualified off of his own merit though. Not really any different than Drogo. Lilbow mainly qualified from WCS Premier just as Drogo got his points from WCS events he did well in. I really dont get what you think "off of one's own merit" signifies :D He only qualified because two players couldn't attend for various reasons. That's what I meant. His personal performance during the year wasn't good enough, but he lucked out.

Please understand the context of their retirements because making such a ridiculous statement. How is that statement ridiculous? He's just expressing how he sees it. Now, if he had stated that EVERYONE should see it the same way he does and there's no other right way to see it, then yes it would have been ridiculous. Just because you have a right to an opinion doesn't mean said opinion can't be wrong or ridiculous.

TY and Solar are just so good. Well Nerchio's ZvT is incredible and he did practice a lot of ZvZ, so I don't think he wants to avoid it nowadays. He was actually sad that he didn't have more zergs in his KeSPA Cup group. It will be really, really hard, but he can still do it I think.

Yeah but he also said TY and Solar were among the strongest players he played while he was in Korea. To the point where he was convinced TY was gonna win KeSPA Cup before he even played his Ro8 match. And Solar is obviously capable of incredible play as well. TY has the luxury of only preparing one match-up. Let's face it, this would be an incredibly hard group to win for any Korean or foreign pro with Solar and TY in it. But even just advancing from it is a challenge most players would probably fail. Nerchio can do it, but he's gotta show up at his absolute best to actually make it happen. Beside that, I'm convinced Nerchio will give us a good show, whether he advances to the next round or not.
