Nothing wrong with stating a fact, though I dont know about the making blizzcon seems secondary argument. I don't think there are a lot of ppl who aren't worried about the future of SC2 at this point.

Foreigners are getting money now and so there's opportunity for more teams to get sponsors and for them to grow. In korea the scene will hold up too, since it has a good establishment. It is not 2-3 years I'm worried about, but the very far future were current pros are either too old or decide to move on for other reasons. Maybe I'm being pessimistic but I feel like not enough people will enter the scene to make it through. Then again, BW is barely even alive and is making a comeback. Be realistic, do you think the established korean scene will disappear just 3 years from now? when all the pros are still hard at work to compete and fans have grown thanks to the feats of Byun and Neeb and even Dark? Would seem like a lot of wasted opportunities from sponsors. And for the foreign scene it would be even more ridiculous to think it has only 2-3 years left. Like I said, since foreigners now have a chance, foreign teams will be able to get more and better sponsors. The scene is not dying, it is estabilizing.

Also never forget his great interview with Wax where he just said with a straight face "oh I don't sleep" in response to asking how he does both school and SC2. Doesn't even give it any thought, says it like its the most natural thing in the world. I love this post. No capitalization, terrible grammar, a bunch of sentence fragments and then WHAM a random semicolon out of nowhere. It's like someone thought "In order to make up for this post barely making sense, I need to use an advanced punctuation mark in order to balance it out and show how serious I really am". Truly a work of art. Really speaks to the duality of existence don't you think?

Agreed, many people let this game's popularity go because they just believe the game will die. But for games with more "dumb" players, they don't "rationally" think on the weakness of their game and just play it so game is alive.
