So I've recruited European players to play NSL 2016, the server for non-Chinese NSL players is Korea. I've tried a variety of vpn services, but non of them has a great improvement. I've used many trial and gone through many refund in the past months. What is everyone's best solution?

![]() It's long and has a lot of stops along the way. Going from the United States to Korea has to cross the Pacific, which is very wide. It's better than the EU->Korea connections though. You might be able to keep shopping around for a VPN that has a better route, but chances are there isn't one.

I used to play sometimes with two Russian guys from Vladivostok and Sakhalin and we had no lag, while with Koreans I usually have slight lag. I have no idea if it was luck or if traffic was routed overland through Russia and that's why it was faster. Vladivostok is really close to South Korea so maybe a VPN in Krasnoyarsk or something might help? (tbh I have no clue about VPNs but maybe it helps...) Edit: I just did a test with a tracert to Vladivostok and Seoul. Vladivostok is 160 ping and routed over Russia, Seoul 300 ping routed over USA.
