Hey,
I'm looking for private coaching lessons as a wedding gift for a friend.
The fried has a bet running to become Grandmaster until October - which he has been some years ago, but didn't play much since. So the gift is supposed to help him a bit win the bet.
As he'll not win games by mechanics only, I'd prefer a smart player who really understands the game and has an edge without talking just mechanics / control.
I tried to contact TLO and Stephano over Facebook, but sadly didn't get a reply yet. I'd need to agree on a deal until this Friday so I can include it as a gift voucher in my wedding present on Saturday.
Thanks for your help!
Lutz

Thanks. Might not be too easy to arrange coaching sessions Central Europe <-> Australia though. But it's an option.
What I forgot is languages: English & German is both equally good.

It depends if he wants to get better at the game or have a chat with "famous" pros. The big names will charge 2-10 times more than the lesser known guys. That said, Pig does the best structured coaching in the business. Nobody else has as many lesson plans as he does.
http://www.twitch.tv/kirksc < mid level na gm. approx 15$/hr
http://www.twitch.tv/neurostarcraft <2x gm in recent times. approx 20$/hr
I'm sure you can find cheaper. Plenty of gms desperate for $$$.

I second this choice. He is the best coach available at the moment and very reasonably priced. He takes notes for all of his sessions so that he can always pick up later, and remember who you are, and what you need to work on. If you're gonna buy coaching I say do it here.

Oh, and rates of $30-50 / h would be pretty ok if it's quality coaching & quality players.

Not sure about his rates but I second this "second" endorsement for pig! (apparently both TLO and Stephano are streaming now - maybe you can better contact them in chat)
