Exactly, he's just so perfect in every other way.
Who is he going to curse next?
taeja is next. sorry templar
I'm guessing you've never listened to artosis cast one of innovation's games lol
Omg your right. First he overhype SoO, then his fanboyism will overhype Innovation, then he will begin hyping Life as he realizes he has a shot and he's been on the Life hype train before. Then in the finals between MMA and TaejA, he will call the son of boxer and TaejA will win.

I'm hwaiting for Artosis Curse on Innovation so Taeja can advance to the finals and deliver me LP bracket glory :)

Not really upsets, in my opinion. Since the widow mine was changed back, all the top tier Terrans have been handily beating Zergs. The map pool seems to give Terrans a bit of an edge too. All the Zerg players were knocked out of the tournament were all playing Terrans, with the exception of Life (who played Zest).
ZvP is much more interesting these days. Definitely watch all the Life vs Zest games, you could tell that Life really prepared well for the matchup.
TvZ Terrans are doing the same bio composition as it trades favorably with all tiers of Zerg units. It also seem like the Zerg player has a notably smaller margin of error than the Terran player. Once in a great while a Terran throws in mech. Last game I remember with mech was Innovation vs. DRG during last GSL. He used it in one game during that series vs Swarmhosts. Hope we don't have a ZvT finals at Blizzcon. (Never thought I would hear myself saying that.)
Taeja was even beating Zergs before the widow mine was reverted back to HotS version with the old map pool. I don't think there's a Zerg in the world who can beat him right now. Maybe Life will prove me wrong.
So the series I would really recommend are: 1. Zest vs Life (Seriously watch this!) 2. Taeja vs SoO (Taeja was basically in control the whole time, but I love watching his games.) 3. Classic vs Polt
I'll definitely do that! I was awake during Polt vs Classic and it was such a great series.
And for people laughing at me for saying that Life and TaeJa winning were upsets.. I don't think that TaeJa is bad in any sort of way but as I recall correctly soO and Zest were highly favored.
I am thinking about BlizzCon champion status. No doubt many will call him the best in the world or World Champion, let's say Bomber wins it, then drops out of Ro32 WCS KR. Seems like "Champion" is a one night thing nowadays.

"Champion" is permanent, "best in the world" is much more fleeting. If Bomber wins Blizzcon, I wouldn't have a lot of trouble calling him the best player in the world. Sure there are contenders for the title, but he has looked great recently.
I keep on thinking why so often Koreans from GSL Code S when playing in international LAN tournaments under-perform compared to what one would expect them when playing in Code S. This time too, favourites sOO and Zest mostly lost cause of micro mistakes. Personally I like upsets, but when they happen too often, they become the norm, and would you call that an upset?

because there are three matchups and you will not need to be godly in all matchups for winning a champion, there is a bracket and you always avoid some insanely strong players. Who are the best players in the BlizzCon? Zest, soO, herO, taeja, inno, Classic.. and a champion will not face all of the strong players I mentioned above.

every player at blizzcon is strong and every single player (kay maybe no jjakji) proved that he could go toe to toe with practically anyone in the tournament on a good day.

that's not true at all. what you are saying is every player is equally good and it makes no sense. I will give you some examples. herO will dominate every T and Zest will beat every P and Taeja destroies every Z stepping on his way. It's all about the matchups.

If it's all about matchups then there can't be "the best player in the world". I so want to see herO dominate Bomber if he gets past Classic, and Taeja destroies Life and avenge Zest (but he has to get past Innovation first. Look very unlikely.

there still can, if you dominate all three matchups then you are the best player in the world. innovation was close but he falls off after a team switch to acer. zest was close but his pvt and pvz started to slip off. it is VERY VERY hard to do indeed.
