[T/N: This is a translation of a translation. I will try to stick to the original wording in Chinese]

Q: You found a new team.
A: San told me many good things about yoe Flash Wolves when I extended the contract last year. I also thought YFW is the Taiwanese [equivalent of] SKT. I thought about whether or not to transfer to YFW at that time, but I've yet to prove myself in SPL, so I chose to extend my term with SKT. I have really missed the international tournaments, so when my contract has finished this year and YFW was brought up again, I sought it out.

Q: Can you talk about details of the contract?
A: Contract is one year in length. From what I hear from San and Leenock, everything is awesome besides the meals. I have also seen the practice rooms from photos. Although I cannot talk about my salary in detail, but I can say that it's no worse than what I get from SKT. The important thing is that I can travel frequently to international tournaments.

Q: You said you can travel to international tournaments often.
A: I saw many [Korean] players having a good time in foreign tournaments. (Laugh) If you've seen the TV series "Slave Hunters", you'd know that Jang Hyuk (portraying Lee Dae-gil) is out to hunt down the servant Oh Ji-ho (Portraying Song Tae-ha). Now I will be out to hunt down the players who has had it easy in the international tournaments. They should be nervous. [T/N: In the Chinese translation, the hunter and huntee's names were reversed. Wikipedia told me otherwise so I went with that. Or maybe Parting has it backwards.]

Q: From Sept 30th, You spent a month being teamless.
A: I haven't gone out at all unless there is a match. I already forgot how to do interviews. Even though I practised, I still didn't do well in my games, so I was rather disappointed in myself. YFW extended an olive branch right when I wanted to find a new team. I will be participating in the MSI Beat IT; please watch me win it all.

Q: You will be living with San and Leenock
A: They say that living in Taiwan is boring, and are hoping my arrival will make things more interesting. So they are asking me go there sooner. Going to Taiwan should be a good experience. In terms of practice, San hyung and Leenock are hard workers, so I am confident on improving myself.

Q: How do your parents react to this?
A: When my mom heard that I have to live in Taiwan for joining the new team, she said "Can you not go?" My mom sees me more of a high school student than the youngest in the family. But I feel I have matured already. Before signing the contract, I spoke to my parents about my aspiration, and have received their support. To be honest, because of my mother, I have contemplated on continuing with SKT.

Q: You haven't done well in individual league this year.
A: It's really regrettable, especially in GSL season 3. I could have made it to the finals if I have taken out INnoVation, but it's all over now. YFW believed in me and recruited me, so I will repay them by taking home championships. I will not retire until I have won a title in Korea.

Q: There are many tournaments in Taiwan, do you have the ambition to win?
A: According to San hyung, many people watch the Taiwanese tournaments. If I win, more people will get to know me. Maybe I can get a girlfriend if I win a couple of times? (laugh)

Q: You have had more experience than other players in Starcraft II
A: I've been playing SC2 for five years now. I've experience a lot in these five years: I've been yelled at and have switched between many teams. I hope I can attain considerable achievements at YFW; I hope to grow. I myself have picked the team this time, so I will remain active here until I retire.

Q: You've been putting on a variety of personal shows lately
A: A lot of players are extremely careful [with their wording] when being interviewed, I don't like that. A player needs to be fun in order to expand his fan base. Now that I'm in a foreign team, I will be able to show a lot more. My personal shows/streams are the first step. My fans can expect my improvements in skill as well as in many other aspects.

Q: Anything else to add?
A: Nobody knows what's going to happen, but I will continue to participate in Korean tournaments. I hope my Korean fans don't forget the name Parting. Also, I will participate in international tournaments, bringing back my flare from 2012. Lastly, I'd like to thank YFW for bringing me in.

Eh, Taiwan is boring? Which city are they in?
I wonder what meals they have. Food in Taiwan is great, so maybe they miss Korean food.

I was really hoping someone would ask him about the Proleague situation and whether he'll be playing thanks to ST/YFW.

Great interview, thanks for translating! PartinG's going to have tons of success overseas. He's the best Protoss outside of Korea, now, and 2015 should be a great year for him.

It's great to see that he will keep playing in SPL and GSL! I'm also glad that Taiwanese scene is getting stronger, they possibly have the best SCII team outside of Korea.

but I've yet to prove myself in SPL

Isn't this indicating that he will be playing? I'm mean it's either that or he has gave up on the whole proving himself thing.

Yoe was the Taiwanese SKT - but that was before SKT had a mass exodus. Now it's simply the immovable body and irresistabe force of the Taiwanese scene. And if they can match Parting's old salary, that explains why.

It'll be fun to hear more of Parting's trash-talk in overseas competitions. I hope he develops a rivalry with MC. It'd be brilliant.

I will not retire until I have won a title in Korea.

Mushi-esque? But good luck to Parting. Hope he wins one sooner rather than closer to when his contract expires. Wouldn't want him to retire :'(.

He knows how to handle things, well done Parting! Good luck on the new team, I hope you will achieve what you desire! (If it does not include beating Jaedong in any finals ever)

I thought he meant that he hadn't proved himself in SPL last year when he was first considering going to YFW, when there was no ST partnership. Would he still think he hasn't proved himself? I don't follow SPL religiously, but I thought he had an okay year.

Yeah, I mean he had an okay record, but nothing memorable. The most memorable thing out of him was his rivalry with Flash.

An okay record could mean that he's satisfied with his results in SPL. I'd love to get a confirmation one way or the other!

I certainly hope he's coming back to stick it to SKT.
