I don't know if Lauren Elise could have bad intentions - she's just got a really positive personality from what I can tell. All in good fun.

Sure, Lauren Elise applies her looks, but she at least illustrates enthusiasm and willingness to be a part of the SC2 community, even though the community has reduced to a niche one.

I really hope that she succeeds, because I really can sense her positive attitude and desire to do some meaningful contributions!

I always liked Lauren Elise and was sad thinking we might never see her again after NASL died. I thought she fit in quite well back then...hopefully it can work again.

lauren elise is definitely intelligent. I remember in an episode in NASL, they mentioned that she's had a poetry book published, been an actress, and was at one point one of the best gymnast in the her region, which shows at least good discipline and more accomplishment than I can ever claim.

The reason people dismissed her at the beginning was because she was hired in as the token female host who had absolutely no starcraft knowledge. But as NASL progressed, she started involving herself in the scene, streaming, and showed genuine interest and enthusiasm, not to mention she did tons of interviews and reportings.

it'll be good to have her back! she's a good host, but will probably need to work alongside someone with deeper knowledge of the game to appeal to the hardcore gamer.

I never heard of her, I think I missed her during the 1.5 year that I took a break from and didn't follow the SC2 scene so much. I read all the initial sexist shit at the start of the thread but when reading through the pages it really shows that there are tons more people saying they really liked her and are glad to have her back. For the SC2 community to be so positive over a female host really tells me she must have been doing a really great job!

Looking forward to seeing her and the energy she brings that makes so many people appreciate her work. Good luck Lauren!

Fantastic for SC2. She brings in promotion for the game to non-geeks. You should be grateful that she is hosting this tournament.

Also for every hater, she is the second most beautiful CyberGirl for Playboy (Leanna ftw). Go get some chill in watching her vids, but stop bashing a girl actually REALLY liking the game (at least it seems so), unlike other beforehand mentioned girls in this thread..
