Hello people,
my friend is moving to Finland and during our discussion we talked about - obviously - finnish SC2 players. There are some very recognizable names but we couldn't agree on who is most popular SC2 player from Finland. I decided to pass the question to the community so here it goes:

Known for: during assembly winter 2013 (finland only event, apparently) finished 4th (behind people above). The same happened during WCS Finland nationals (except top three were in different order). For 2011 WCG qualifiers he finished 3rd behind Welmu and elfi but ahead of Naama.

Which covers - among others - Fuzer and Satiini.

I thought Protosser was known for his ZvZ. And where is Serral, Protossers better brother?

I'd bet it's either elfi or Naama, maybe Naama. Welmu is easily the best finnish player at the moment but he doesn't have same kind of history like elfi or Naama have. I don't think Protosser, Serral, Satiini or anyone else really stand a chance here.

Elfi is probably the best known. Serral would be my personal vote.

Not really suprised with the Poll-result, the running joke with Elfi being a "god" also had a big impact on it imo

He is maybe most promising foreign zerg.

I would say that elfi is more popular to gamers that has played sc2 for many years. And Welmu to players that started 1-2 years ago.

I think Welmu is the most well known these days, but Naama is my favourite.

Elfi or Welmu I would say is the most recognizable name, and then comes Serral, Naama and Fuzer.
Hard to really put them in order at the moment.

The most visible would be Welmu, elfi is the most popular since he has a distinct playstyle and has fluff around him

Elfi is definitely the best known historically, although Welmu is probably the best Finnish player atm.

I think what Welmu is actually known for is his "rrrrrr"-s  Also Welmu, at least I like him the best.

While Serral is pretty good, he is not THAT good yet. He seems to have a lot of potential. There is a video where elfi and co are teasing Serral always saying "you are the best". He somewhat shyly responds "not really". Or something like that.
