Man it's 29 points for main team. Here's my dilemma: I really want players that play as many games this week, and that have the most potential to win. - Roro is indispensable as a week 1 starter. Plays twice, 2 easy games, potential ace. The best pick this week. - Rogue plays twice, also indispensable. - MKP has an easy game. - Bbyong plays twice, should win at least 1.
- I really liked what pangpootata is saying about Soulkey. He's a great long term player to have. I hate having Soulkey (or any 6+ pointer from SKT on my main) because they don't play consistently every week. This week SKT only plays once and has a hard game against Byul. But if Soulkey comes as ace and wins it like he did at least once last season, I would kick myself for not getting him.
After these choices, I have 4 points left. 1 went to Prime an 2 went to Tails because Tails has a winnable game. I don't really think Samsung can win either of their games with their lineup, so I picked Prime. But this leaves me with 1 point to spare. I could kick Soulkey out and have 7 points now to spare, but I already got the best 7 point pick in Roro on my team (DRG and Super aren't even playin this week, and Hydra is really not worth it 7).
So I might even go forward with a team that has 29 points.

So my first FPL team was an absolute joke, and I knew it would be because it was my first time trying it out, hence the name "Doge Party". But I'm feeling much better about this round. Introducing DogeParty v2.0:
Captain choice: I feel like this doesn't need too much explanation. This man has been a monster and, as far as I've seen, a very consistent performer. He's got a pretty tough opponent in sOs this first week, but I'm very confident in him, and he's sure to wipe out TurN later this week. I'm not sure how many ace matches he'll see due to Flash and TY being his teammates, but we'll see what happens.
Members Dream and TAiLS: For the price of these players and the statistics that greatly favor them against their opponents, I feel like Dream and TAiLS were easy choices, if only for this first round. Also, my cheapest member last round was State. No offense to him at all-I'd love to see him play this round and not get cheesed-but I feel like TAiLS will actually get more opportunities to play in comparison.
Rogue and soO: Absolute bargains. Being a Code S finalist and only 4 points, soO seems like another no-brainer. Rogue took out a couple of my players last round and I enjoyed watching him play. At only 3 points, he was an easy pick. I don't think he'll see much of a challenge out of Action or EffOrt, honestly, and he will definitely be fielded just about every week.
MarineKing: It's MKP. Come on. I should've picked him last round, at least that's what my heart was saying, but my brain said "Pick MVP because he beats MKP." and that helped me sooo much...
Anti Team---
Yongwha: He's not playing this week, and even though I see him as a strong Protoss, I'd rather put my money on HerO, but I'm pretty biased.
Cure: He's on here because I believe Hydra will beat him, make him go down a few points, and let me pick a lower costing player to put here.
Shine: I don't like him. My first time actually watching him play was last round, and I was just disappointed. He just doesn't look like a player I can put my faith in, either. I probably just don't like him because I jumped on a hype train about him since he did so well the round before and I ended up with goose egg points. Negative goose egg points, at that.
TLDR: Zest is my captain, I picked good players (MarineKing is good despite being on Prime) and Anti-Shine all day. glhfgg no re ^^
Toughest picks were the last two - 8 points left for 1 player and a team. Didn't really like Prime plus a 7pointer (wtf DRG Super and Rain all not being fielded week 1; and I'm not sold on trap or hydra's cost). Also, there are few good 2 pointers to pair with JinAir or KT (eins, gumiho, action? no thanks) So I decided on 4+4. SKT bit of a risk after their slump and CJ/MVP's rise, and Stork too, but Samsung coach seems to love fielding him even when his record isn't great, and hey Flash's vP is kinda sucky. (see: last time he faced Stork in PL, and round 2 playoffs vs Billowy lol)
Considering swapping Stork for Dream though. Dream has only one match, but it's vs DeParture (aka he's practically guaranteed to win)
Pretty happy with my anti. Cure/Bunny at 4 and Sniper/Sora/Hurricane at 3 are tossups imo. I think you people picking Keen and Fantasy for anti are really playing with fire, yeah they don't have the best record for their cost but they are getting playing time (means the coach has confidence in them for some reason) and if they win these first few games either of them could easily become a lineup regular, or even an occasional ace.
Your three anti-team players are likely to rake in a bunch of team victory points since Jin Air and MVP are both likely to win the majority of their matches.

Main team: I took Fantasy as my team captain because i think his performance last season was promising and that he'll be able to increase his value this season if he only gets a little more consistent. And he is one who is regular in SKTs line up which tells that iveloov has confidence in him for some reason. In addition he seems to be very motivated to to well and since he is a member of SKT he will probably focus on the Proleague. Bbyong had very good games in the last season and he did well in the GSL until he got eliminated. So expect him to perform even better this season and hopefully CJ will be able to transform the potential of their impressive line up into results this season so that Bbyong grinds some additional points for me. Effort is likely to win his game this week and after that ill probably replace him with life oder Hyvaa. Reality has good chances of winning some games in the upcoming matches, is a very solid and patient player and he is one of the 3 pointers with enormous potential. What is more he is just awesome because he has the balls to play straight mech. Tails is cheap and he will win his game vs Salvation. He is generally one of those players which are good at preparing specific all ins to kill opponents who are much stronger than them in a straight up game. Ill probably trade him for another protoss - as i need at least one - , if he gets a match up giving him very poor chances of winning. Soulkey is only at 6 by now, which is much less than he is capable of. I am betting on him overcoming his recent slump and performing well again. If he does so, it will be an exceptional pleasure. SKT for just 4 points is a great deal even if the team was in a slump last round. Their roster is still very strong and coaches as well as players will want to make sure that they perform better than last round as they are used to be at the top.
My anti team is maybe a bit of a gamble. Keen is one of those who could beat anyone on a good day. So i am counting on his inconsistency and, regarding the match vs Creator, the strenght of the opponents he'll face. Yonghwa was again quite succesfull in Code A but i hope that the difference between his individual performance and his performance in Proleague is at least as significant as in the past 2 seasons. At last, there is Stork who seems to be off his little performance peak and will surely loose his first game this week.
Fantasy isn't that good and classic doesn't play this week Rogue and MarineKing are cheap and will play a lot Leenock because LEENOCK Maru and Soulkey as always Terminator is a real steal for 1 point plus he is playing PvP this week IM cause only 3 points left
Choices: I chose TY as captain (might as well, since I won't trade) and as my high pointer, because I think he is the best value for 8 points. He is only playing once in the first week, but I expect him to play every match thereafter, since I suspect Zest to soon be slumping due to champion's lazyness. I also chose him over Flash since I think he is just better, and judging by their first matches, they'll both win one match in the first week. ByuL is a little undervalued at 6 imho. IM is too stacked to invest so many points in a single of their players, but he is the one player I think has the best chance to play quite regularly for them - if round 1 Byul shows up instead of round 2 Byul that is, but his Code A match makes me optimistic about this. MarineKing surprised me last round, he will show up in ace matches at least occasionally and should easily recover a good amount of points for the investment, even if I don't expect him to have a stellar win percentage going forward. Reality and Rogue are players I'm a little surprised at in that they are so cheap. Both are regulars on their respective teams and not too bad at all. Rogue is very talented and Reality excels at preparing builds for maps, and with his elimination from GSL now has all the time to do so for SPL. TAiLS is cheesy and good in preparation, and I think he can snipe a few games for MVP. He should also net a few points for being on MVP, if they can keep up their crazy run. Good investment for a mere two points. SKT, despite not doing too well last round just underperformed and is thus a good deal at 4 points right now, especially compared to the teams in that price region (I was looking for 3 to 5 pointers). The anti team is usually where I have a really hard time to make my picks, but this time around I found it quite easy. Trap is never worth the 7 points compared to the other players at that point level, not in a thousand years. Add to that that he is a rotational player at best for IM, and he makes a good anti pick. I have no idea how Bunny ended up being worth 4 points, but I'll take it - if asked without looking at the ratings, I would have guessed him at 2 points. eins...yeah....he took a game, sure, but that was luck, so thanks for bumping him up to two points from zero.

True, but that was against illustrous players like Effort, True and Kassia. His only noteworthy win was versus DRG. I probably underestimate him, but he just doesn't hit my spider senses as a good choice for 7 points

Do you really think IM can even take it to ace against SKT though? I see a 1-3 at worst for SKT, possibly a 3-0. SoulKey looked solid as ever today, Parting wiped the floor with Squirtle last time they played, and Fantasy has a decent chance of taking out Life. Hydra may not seem worth 7, but he does play twice and both matches are winnable.

Those are some seriously deceptive stats. Effort, True, and Kassia? DRG is the only decent win on that list and Yeonsu isn't exactly Zerg favored.
