P.S. I think it would be a good idea to edit the title as well since we have an update on his status...

I wish to ask, from what it seems right now, the condition on his wrists looks to be a permanent thing or does he just need a short break to rest and then with the new practice plan it will disappear? Honestly it's such a weird condition even though so many people have hand/wrist/arm problems I don't get the impression it's possible for experts to really say anything definitive like that about it. TLO plays largely painfree but he went through so much to get there. Other players never seem to get rid of it entirely and just continue to play with it, and others yet are forced to quit.

Thats so unfortunate I wish that TaeJa wasnt plagued by this.

During the day, get something like this: http://thumbs.ebaystatic.com/pict/1812560893554040_1.jpg. Just wear it constantly (at a comfortable tightness). It helps a LOT. When you sleep, wear: http://www.physioroom.com/images/products//full/38201_image2.jpg The support across the bridge of the hand is key here. This doesn't replace physiotherapy (which also helps a ton) but definitely makes a big difference. Please consider passing on this information to your players Nazgul; it may not be a great revelation but as I said almost NO progammers use passive wrist supports when I see streamed games, especially Koreans. Also, Taeja is a great player and one of the best examples of talent scouting I've ever seen. I really hope he can recover and go back to his dominance, one of the absolute best terrans in the world when he's on his game and has a great attitude. We would all be sad to lose him.

Something like a month of 2 off very light training and no real tournaments commitment. Would be ideal to do during a downtime period but there isnt much room there On April 03 2014 18:20 Liquid`Nazgul wrote: Just a quick update. TaeJa's wrists were in really bad shape after IEM and he felt he needed to seriously reconsider being a progamer. It was definitely a more serious remark than the times before it. After a (much needed) break his wrists and mind have started to feel better and he has decided he to continue to play SC2. I can't predict how his wrists will keep up, but as long as he feels comfortable we will support him in that decision. In communciation with TaeJa we have decided to lower the intensity of his schedule so that in between tournaments he can focus on recovering in Korea.
