This thread is not a platform to whine about balance. Balance complaints will be moderated. |
Shortly after his loss to sOs in the IEM World Championship semi-finals, Liquid`TaeJa tweeted that he would be retiring soon.
TaeJa had been openly talking about wanting to retire as early as November of 2013, citing the worsening condition of his wrists.

Maybe he was just going to sleep that night.

He hinted a retirement before. He made the money, got the fame and played the games. If he thinks it's a good time to stop, than we should all respect that decision.

wasn't there just a thread about hero's tweet with regards to protoss being disgusting?
Is the SCII Illuminati trying to hide something?
|
Hopefully he just means Soon™

Sounds like a Protoss to me...

He should do whatever he feels like but would be a shame to retire at his age and sounds like an emotional tweet after a loss.
|
Well he basically lost a chance to get 100K$ because of blink all-in, with the amount of money on the line and the amount pratice he put into this game, I would feel robbed, its not only the money but the honor, you cant prove you are better than someone else because there is some externals factor that you cant control like balance...
I really wish he doesnt retire, always been one of my favorite terran !

No more threads about twitter posts where players say they are going to retire. Only when they have retired.
Also, Taeja a bit of a drama queen.

a bit? A very big one He tweets this every time he loses in a tournament

Protoss so strong it can make Taeja retire Even Liquid_Hero agrees
|
Yeah I'd say wait for an official announcement. Especially since it involves a Liquid player.
Twitter != valuable source

Hope it's just San twitter bombing him. I would be really fucking sad to see him retire, his game vs Life were so awesome.. Even though I'd understand that losing the way he lost against sOs would disgust him :/

We should invite them all play Starbow
|
This is not the first time he has said something like this, let's wait a little bit and see :b

If it wasnt for his korean english, I agree. But I would argue he actually means retirement.
