If Maka and bitbybit un-retired and just played like they used to, Terrans would call their play "so gosu, wow this is really innovative" but if Protoss wins a 50 minute game with 200/200 storm, blink, FF, and coll control, then theyre just "no micro needed race"

Think about it this way: If everybody trolls you because of your race, and the trolling has been going on for so long that everybody kinda accepts it, wouldn't it be better, as a toss player, to fall in line with the trolls, rather than trying to ignore them (almost impossible, see twitch chat, forums etc) or fight them (lol). Way of least resistance etc etc.

To be honest, I do die a little bit on the inside seeing some of those images, and I do miss the Brood War Protoss where Gateway units were actually the core composition and abilities with psi storm and Disruptor's Web were to sweeten the deal and make battles more exciting!

play 4v4 all terran all goes 12 raxx 12 gas standard reaper opening -> instawin
or, everyone just goes 6 rax + stim 1base -> instawin

As a political science student I am having a blast studying this phenomenon. I draw many comparisons with the Cold War mentality. The communist's main tool of country recruitment was to make people afraid of America's power and reach. The communists wanted to 'nerf' America so to speak. Zero-sum competition is popular in international relations, its funny to see similar principles even here, but instead of fighting over lives and land people are fighting over the perceived 'balance' of a video game. Different things at stake but the same rabid passion. I hope to god WW3 never happens.

If you recall the last protoss mission in WoL, protoss also failed to make the last stand against the hybrids, ultimately leading to end of all terrans and zerg. They should totally apologize for that, as well.

It's very funny, but I don't know if it's logical, TBH.
Toss is probably most cheesy race now, but all races have had their cheese over the years and before MSC Toss was probably the most vulnerable race to cheese, even to photon cannons.
The game is much better now than it was in the days of brood-infestor or mass marines. Yet we didn't get apologies from Zergs and Terrans for their former dominance. Even if there is some slight imbalance (which is not certain) I don't think Toss players need to apologize.

Er...the point of that mission was that Terran had already been wiped out by the Zerg controlled by the hybrids.
Terran had already tried and failed, Protoss was the last one standing before going down to the swarm. Kinda reminds me of the BL/Infestor era actually. X-D
