Thanks Starbow will not be an extension mod until blizzard adds default extensions to certain maps. If we were to make Starbow an extension mod now then every single ladder map would have to have Starbow manually added before each game, which seems like some unneccicary extra work. If you want to try Starbow on some map which currently does not have it you can add it yourself via the editor. Starbow mod file is public.

I'm relatively new to SC2, so it feels like a dumb question... but I can't find it in the OP and google searches come up with nothing obvious. go to the editor; make a new map and add dependencies. Then there you should find an option to search for mods/maps by name.

You download the mod file in "open" and go to the middle tab. Set the search option to "map/mod" and search for "Starbow" The current mod file is named: "StarbowBeta". Then you do what the post above describes.

So, I did this but there are little quirks with the units? There are 2 slots to make a Reaper at a Barracks, 2 slots to make a Siege Tank at a Factory, I can't make any Probes from a Nexus, 2 slots to make Mutalisk from a Larva, missing units from the Larva morph card. I've tried it with just StarbowBeta in the Dependencies, as well as including the StarbowBeta plus Liberty (Mod), Liberty (Campaign), Swarm (Mod), and Swarm (Campaign) mods. EDIT: I placed a "Khaydarin Citadel (Nexus)" structure and a regular "Nexus" structure next to each other, and the Khaydarin Citadel allowed me to train probes while the regular Nexus didn't. I looked at the details in the Data window, and the values for the Button "Warp In Probe" were the same as the Khaydarin Citadel's "Warp In Probe" Button... Have you heard of anything like this before? Thanks again!

Make sure you add this dependency to an arcade map and not a melee map or else it might mess up like that. You can chose between melee and arcade (and others) when you select "new map" under "file".
