they just want to allow MLG to make fun of them, so they are even again and all is good. Then they'll ask ESL for help and everything will run stellar.

Busy complaining about new maps on twitter.

No idea the WCS site lists 200 cumulative wins. I dont know how they couldnt get that, especially with the new maps and everything they needed to get a feel for in the last days

Not trying to defend the sloppiness for anyone that does that for a living, but generally for anything SC2 related: Organizers, if you do an open qualifier, make a thread on TL with all the relevant info if there isn't already one. Nobody looks on your shitty websites.

If you can't seriously click a link ON ONE SITE. Seriously. It took me 1,5 min to find all the info on NASL.TV.

It's not hard. Thorin was so right. It saddens me.

#givekoreamoresupportblizzard.

The problem is the info on the NASL site is not consistent with the info on the WCS site.

I don't see the difficulty in COMMUNICATING that if it's the case. They used that much time QQ'ing about Daedalus Point when they could have used 1 of the tweets to ask... The top koreans QQ'ed and won.

It seems like that's the plan so they have more than 21 people in the qualifiers

Ah, I am really bad at coming up with ways how sc2 events can be fucked up, must be because I'm from and in Europe.

North America has had some sick events in the past. Back in the day, we had MLG, IPL and NASL. Plus there was Lone Star Clash, which was pretty cool

But now...well shit.

And that's just complete BS. The few who did read the rules and got 200 wins in time should be rewarded, don't give the lazy, uninformed ones another chance. Those guys have to grow up and become a pro at some point. Stop feeding them with a spoon.

I would like to see TeamLiquid doing a news about these 2 qualifiers done by NASL this year... and talk ab out how bad it already was for season 3 last year.
it's cool to give results and talk about matches, but there is work to be done here too I think

Fucking Bomber managed to figure out that he needed 200 wins on NA, and he got them. But apparently players that can actually read the English player handbook couldn't do it. Too busy crying about Protoss or the new maps on Reddit I guess.

Honestly, this.

All of this fuckery would've probably been avoided if hopeful participants gave enough of a shit to read the rules.

Thought I'm still incredibly disappointed in the NASL crew for not communicating anything with anybody which just wasted three hours of our time and more importantly the time of the progamers involved.

If these players didn't meet the requirements today, how are they going to meet them in a week? Roughly 200 wins in a week? Have fun with that. Going to be so much "circumvention" and cheese. May as well just forgo having rules this qualifier.

The players who did have the amount of wins should be compensated, it's not their fault others screwed up.

My remark was more aimed at organizers trying to ignore TL as the major community hub in general, also regarding that IPL Satellite EU qualifier. Communication is much easier when that happens on a central hub. If I don't know that something is about to happen, I don't know that I have to look it up. But everybody checks TL.net daily, so when a thread pops up, I know that I have to look it up. It shouldn't be too hard to put some intern to that task and the fact that we talk in this thread ("registration open") instead of a proper LR or official announcement thread bears witness for it.

Again, not trying to defend the players that are (semi-)pro here, but sometimes I have the feeling that organizers don't want people to know about their stuff.
