The fact you're betting against the best player in the world whose skill honestly can't be determined by losing two matches is beyond silly. I think you are focusing on the negatives on Innovation, and focusing on the positives of Naniwa and Duck, because what you're doing is seeing past the domination Innovation had in Proleague (whose skill-ceiling is above the roof) and his domination before dropping out of WCS. That you think the player with all these accomplishments will lose out is completely beyond me. But, if you are right then I'll be the first one to admit you were right all along, but as it stands now based on that there's no way that Naniwa or Duck could make it past ro16 in WCS Korea I'd say your chances of getting this right is more than slim, hell it's minute. I think people are confused he still is. It's more of a "lease" for EG then an actual acquirement.

I assume you mean "loan," which was what the Korean news sites were trying to pass it off as. This has been refuted by EG management. JD's not on loan, and he's not bound by contract to return to T8 now that they have a sponsor. He's an EG player, same as any other EG player, and he'll join or not join a KeSPA team in the future based on his own wishes. EDIT: Just saw the DES article you were talking about where they refer to it as a "lease," which clarifies what you're talking about. It seems he is still legally bound to KeSPA. Still, calling him a KeSPA player "by legalities only" makes pretty much no sense in any context.

Also, coming from USA, Alive was very very jetlagged, unlike First. That also played a huge role. Alive actually should have 3-0'd First being the more experienced and much more talented player, not to take anything away from First, but he just got lucky alive is a choker and was jet lagged. And Naniwa made way WAY too many mistakes against Jaedong. I don't think JD's ZvP improved at all, it's just that his Protoss opponents made way too many mistakes. Rain, let's not even talk about him, and MC? Well first off he failed his all ins from micro mistakes and secondly he did Masters mistakes like forgetting the zealot at the hole. tl;dr...alive is better than first, and naniwa, mc and rain are all better than JD, they just made mistakes.

I thought it was not possible to require a player because of the trade lock period by kespa, but alright i guess i stand corrected on that. Did he just not have a contract with T8 ? Or was the trade lock only there for eSF and kespa.
