Unfortunately, I am going to have to agree with this. T_T But if they bundled it with a LoL match...

Iron Squid 2 managed to sell 3500+ seats within a week of sale (and those cost 35+ euros ) So i guess proleague could get at least 7000+ seats with no charges.
well i hope.

When do they announce the matches for the finals?
I think the number of PvPs will decide how many people show up

ITT: self deprecation.
Come on guys! It's the finals! Free of charge, I'm sure tons of people will attend for nostalgia's sake at the very least.

well i hope. different location. sc2 is still fairly popular in europe, while sc2 still isn't in korea or its neightbour countries.
hoping too of course. expecting more like 500-1000 ppl though.

Europeans like SC2, Koreans don't though.

I think the some of the final matches had some decent turnout, with the final match at least filling most if not all the floor space, though not the stands in the back which were partially covered with banners iirc. I think the SPL finals are going to be fine. The later rounds and the playoffs tended to have good audience turnout compared to before, so I'm not worried.

WCS Finals, GSL Finals, GSTL Final of last year, all the major SC2 event finals all attract a whole lot of live viewers, there is nothing to worry about.

I'ts gonna be sick, no it's not gonna be 50 people there, you guys need to stop wishing for star 2 to die in korea, it's getting really fucking sad. What kind of a fucked up community are we when most of us wish for our own game to be dead?
OT: Sick that it's gonna be there, can't wait!
Not everyone wants SC2 to become some huge mainstream thing. I'd prefer a smaller, more personal community.

I don't care how big it gets as I only care about the games not all the stupid bs around it, but wishing for your own game to not fill seats when finals are held (of a league that has had teams disbanding for a long time now) you literally wish for the game you care about to get fucked, and that is a level of retardness I fail to comprehend.

Refreshing.

I think this is a bad move from KESPA. If they think they can bring in as big a croud as BW did they are marking their grave.
Just pick a smaller Venue and don't overcompensate.
