But I really wonder how many routers will be selled, since everybody watching this tournament should already have one. But gl, hf, really looking forward to it. There's probably a few people out there who can afford it and will buy a new router if it means helping increase the prize pool. Be interesting to see by how much it goes up though.

I think Totalbiscuit did something similar in his tournaments when viewers were able to tip the players they were rooting for or who they thought played well and therefore increased the overall prizemoney that a single player could make. Both ideas are interactive and makes you feel youre part of the tournament aswell. Also, great caster lineup. I think its hard to establish a new "best" teamleague but who knows. I'll be watching ![]() It's more similar to what Valve is doing for The International 3. Buy a $10 "Compendium" and $2.50 goes to the tournament prize pot. Except that's 25% off $10, instead of $5% off $200. Like what they did with the pizzas was cool, discounted pizza AND some of the money went to players/teams. I mean... $6 for a pizza! Good deal. Lots of people did that, so even if it was just $.50/pizza that went to a player, it would add up more than $10 off $200 :\ I would love for 1000 people to preorder these things with that code and bring the prize pot up to $20k, I just don't see it happening. I'd honestly be surprised if they get 100.

- the name of the league is really misleading, it should be Evil Geniuses MCSL - it's in concurrence with AcerTeamStory but smaller. - why col-dgnitas team and not other, and team like Millenium deserve maybe more (maybe they deny invite I don't know), it should have incorporate a qualifier. - prize pool is smaller than AcerTeamStory Cup (20,000€) and this phrase make no sense "We want the SC2L to become the Western world's premier team league." for know it's still a random EG MCSL online team cup with modest prizepool.

It is public that SirScoots did not like some of the Quantic management back before they disbanded/re-merged with whoever. I guess that bled into the other guys at EG
