Ever heard of hyperbole? His information was correct, he just exaggerated. And even if he wasn't right, it's no reason for a low-blow like "LOL, you recently got kicked off a team, you shouldn't be allowed to discuss team-leagues."

How do you decide to combine Complexity and Dignitas so they can field a roster and yet exclude much better teams? Then go on to dub yourselves as the 'premier western team league'. It's quite a joke IMO

No, I think he was just being uninformed and trolling up the thread with incorrect information. Or maybe he was just trolling. And Major is a big boy and can handle himself. If he is going to come in and troll up the announcement thread with a bunch of non-sense, he should expect a sharp response.

I really wish someone would comment about the chosen teams. How do you decide to combine Complexity and Dignitas so they can field a roster and yet exclude much better teams? Then go on to dub yourselves as the 'premier western team league'. It's quite a joke IMO So far in this forum, the people definitely haven't been calling SC2L the "premier western team league." The organizers have been catching a lot of flak for just about everything. Also, incontrol didn't say it already is the "premier western team league." He said that is what they want it to become. Also, I agree that Quantic, Millenium, and a few other teams should have been included and could be very competitive in the league. However, I don't think quantic is just way better than everyone else and it doesn't seem right to go around calling them "arguably the best NA team" when the quantic liquipedia page has 2 NA guys listed on the main roster, and I doubt they would see much playing time behind the 6 koreans.

Well, he wasn't entirely incorrect. They started a league six months ago, made the teams play like half of their matches and then said "Sorry, it was all for nothing, we're canceling the league without showing any of the matches you played for us." Only thing he didn't know that they started the league anew instead of using the old games.

I think that would be a pretty neat idea and something no other leagues are doing although it could also be a bad idea

If I spend 200 dollars on the dlink 'gaming' router then 10 dollars of my purchase will go to the prize pool for the league? Seems like quite a small portion of my purchase

I would say a conservative estimate is $75. Possibly as high as a $125. This could be anywhere from 8 to 15 percent of there total profits.

As someone who imports electronics from shenzen, I can guarantee that the manufacturing cost for this is about 20$ if they have bought out a entire factory, and about 30$ if its sourced manufacturing. I import only a few containers of sourced tablets and they cost me ~10$ each and they go for 149$ to consumer. Dont kid yourself with such high estimates, the margins o electronics are about 1000% of production cost. Of course there are many other costs on they way, the biggest being taxes, but thats a general estimate.
