Can see the writing on the wall with Koreans pushing out all foreigners... or that it will be SUPER tough and taxing to stay competitive... he can go make more money for less effort outside of Esports. Walking away with 200k after 2 years... Id take pretty much any job for 2 years for that kind of pay.

Hope he takes it and invests it.

That's the perfect exit strategy to be honest - set a date and have new goals(or the other way around as the date for when his studies start is already set

). Before retirement have a lot of fun and make a good amount of money to live very comfortably through your studies and then make some more money

with the release of hots and changes to zerg, i think it impacted him the most of any player. he played almost the same way for 2 years and self admittedly spent very little effort practicing and even less on scouting his opponents. the writing was on the wall and now is as good of a time as any if he wants to go to school since he is still young.

He talked about it for so long but I almost didn't believe it would ever happen. I remember being an EG fan before he was on the team, and yet seeing him in tournaments and being so impressed by his style of play that I would almost go for him over my own team. He brought a personality to SC2 that isn't often seen from the players out of game, and when the announcement came through that he had joined EG I immediately went online to grab that team shirt.

Super sad that hes not going to be there to follow. Win or lose he was always the reason to tune in. What a champ.
