His main education is in medical field. I can't see how he would switch to engineering, which requires 100% different education in Euro and USA, depends what type he wants. But his prior knowledge is in the medical field.

I think he chose the right moment. He's being going slightly downhill for several months now, even though he remains a very good player and one of the best foreigners (though I think he's not at the top spot anymore). Now he's "just" a very good foreigner among several others. Since he's always said he was playing in order to get money before he enters college, I think it's the right time for him to leave the scene.
Plus, I don't know about medical studies elsewhere but they are really tough in France, so if he wants to succeed he'll need to be 100% focused on school, at least during the 1st year, which is very selective. I wish him good luck, he didn't choose an easy path.
It's sad for EG and foreigners, losing 2 popular players in a row. From now on I will fully focus on rooting for TLO \o/

100% fact he was a med student prior to pro gaming, if you are a fan, you can find his interviews long ago which shows his goals, he was a med student.

The OP need to make a post at the front: he goes to engineering school or economic university (he and we don't know for sure). The med school was a plan one year ago (and he was in high school before pro gaming, never went to university or med school...).

I'm not sure of the direct link, you can find via google, but in 2011 there was a nice tl post about his medical education when he first got famous in sc2, and his education back round.
Medical field/engineering was his goal prior to pro gaming, he does have medical education some what, He spoke about it alot streaming recently.

He was in High school before pro gaming (he was really young, don't forget that) so he never goes to med school or university.

He has prior medical education, but he stopped, Euro is different then America, His goals may of changed as of today, But all his statments/interviews from a while ago clearly stated he wished to retired in 2011/2012 and go on in the medical field. Though today his education goal may of changed to engineering. He did state after highschool he had some medical education.

in euro medical education is far different then USA, As other Euro posters have stated you can start learning in high school, fresh out of high school in a community college as a reg class, it's not like USA where its a godly " u must go to this and that med school situation.
USA medical field vs Euro education in med school is 100% different process.
