Someone should pick him up. To be honest after topping his group Dimaga value rose. He now can carefully pick the team. He shouldnt rush it.

I'm still kind of reeling over that whole thing, but yeah EG could pick him up and send him to Korea for Proleague maybe. He is married, he won't go to korea for proleague.. edit : He said that he was not willing to go in korea in an interview (he only said he would be ok to go for a tournament, go, play, go back)

Clearly too old to compete. ;p Nestea was doing better than dimaga at a much older age. 3 years later he's not producing much result. He had to escape to AM* for an invitation to play in WCS because he knew he wouldn't be able to compete in korea. Most of these older players will most likely have the same fate. Hence "getting too old". On May 11 2013 21:58 Embir wrote: Stupid comments like this cracks me up everytime. I suppose you wouldn't denied that F1 racing is much more demanding physically than SC2, in department of endurance, as well as reflexes. You need godly skill when racing through Monaco, or any other technical circuit, and yet drivers way past 30 can race successfully, more yet, they can even win championships (look at Schumacher). So no, SC2 is not unwinnable for older players, only motivation, skill and training regime are deciding factor. Most people trained for racing at a very young age to become a top racer. SC2 is a game that will last at most 10 years. It doesn't provide nearly the same financial support as F1 racing nor the reputation you get out of it. When was the last time you saw MVP on a magazine dedicated to SC2? Please don't compare SC2 to F1 racing. People at dimaga's age will eventually consider their future in the esports scene and assess the risk whether it is worth to stay in the scene or not. And as you starting doubting esports, your skill level will decrease and that gradually grows with age.

He once said that he doesn't go to many LANs because of travel. He lives somewhere relatively remote in ukraine so it basically takes a full day to get to Kiev, and then from there it's always multiple flights to get anywhere, even if it's just in europe, and this is why you almost never see him outside of europe. If it's difficult to get him to attend events, that could be a factor in his negotiations.

Currently they are in negotiation with a team though (not disclosed), making progress. He does get offers. He didn't explain why it would take long. Because if your offer is agreed upon with no resistance, then you're probably underselling yourself. 4 Months for a long term contract isn't long at all, especially when money is involved.

Thats the reason why IdrA was/is one of the most earning players: he has a huge fanbase. This is the true pitfall of SC2 - fanbase cares about white people from their country winning more than highest possible level of competition.
