Pro-gamers really need to start taking wrist exercises more seriously. It sucks having player take breaks or even retiring because of wrist issues.

Imho teams HAVE to get their players to do correct exercises. Get the players to a doctor to get advice. It seems like the teams don't care about this at all until the point where it's to bad for them to keep playing. I feel like the only real advice flying around is do the exercises Day9 or this other dude shows in their youtube videos and that's it. It's a shame that there is no real professional advice for the pro players how to handle these issues.

People really need to look more at mouse settings and posture/use if they are having these kinds of issues.. Quite honestly nobody in the pro scene seems to really give a fuck at all. Scarlett had great mechanics and obviously played a lot, it's sad this has to happen though when most likely, it could have been either completely avoided, or made much slower onset or more manageable (able to play twice as many games without any/a lot of pain) from a couple hours of discussion and playing with changes

That's a shame, she's one if not my favourite sc2 player. I had to go to my doctor about my wrists because I played too much Starcraft 2 and I took a month and a half break, it did the world of good. So I can understand and hope girlie you come back a.s.a.p. Scarlett <3

p.s. when you come back you should get yourself pink/purple/yellow/green whatever your favourite colour is? wrist supports.

I doubt what she and others need is "wrist exercises". The issue is most likely related to the angle at which she's been using the keyboard.

I feel like pros should try to minimize spam and maximize EAPM. Everyone used to laugh at Goody for winning professional games with 100 APM, but I bet his wrists are healthy.

In actual physical sports, this kind of thing is a major problem. A team's entire season can get wrecked by a bad injury to a key player. Especially in sports like American Football, this kind of thing is both horrendously common and tragic.
