After WCS NA/GSTL I will unfortunately be taking an extensive break from Sc2 to deal with my wrist issues
Seems she will be trying to sort out some health issues that have cropped up in a lot of SC2 players over the years, starting when GSTL concludes and her participation in WCS NA this season is over. She told me it would be something like 2-6 months before she expected to be able to play seriously again.
that is sad, but better to rest of now and dominate later then to dominate now and then not dominate later. Wish her a speedy recovery so she can come back and kick lots of butt.

It's only been several years. It's odd because I don't recall seeing this amount of carpal tunnel cases back in WC3 or SC : BW. I mean they did have seminars for players to make sure they're still exercising those joints after all meh.
I completely understand and support her choice, even as much as it will be terrible to lose my favourite SC II progamer for that long. Best of luck, Scarlett <3
Awful, she was absolutely one of the best foreigners. I must say, though, that the number of players who face career-wretching injuries should really, really be a signal to coaches and managers alike to wake up and take ergonomics and player health much more seriously.
