When a bone in a place as multiplicitous in articulation as the wrist is supplied with blood from only one vessel, this creates prime conditions for immense amounts of pain as the the vessel becomes pressed in sustained awkward positions, and can even lead to outright death of the bone. In a very real sense, not everyone can play starcraft at its highest levels due to this physical limitation, and it would behoove those whose living depend on gaming to get themselves checked out. Hope Scarlett is able to recover though, she is the hero NA needs. LOL and this is false. where you read on the internet about this medical "knowledge" i suggest you find another source

I think there is a slight overreaction here, she is not quitting and she doesn't have the bubonic plague, she'll probably be out four months or so. That's two major tournaments, maybe. Scarlett will be fine, and Canada will be fine too.

She has been on such a good run since WCS Canada, and even though i was never much of a fan, nobody wants to see a pro's livelihood get interrupted by something they can't fully control. Hope it's a quick recovery!

Scarlett, you are making the right choice no doubt; I respect you for this. I respect you for your dedication to your commitments, as per your leave starting in a delayed timing. I question your choice to not leave immediately, however, since we all know this must have been bothering you for far longer than you let on, especially to announce a leave. Not an easy choice for you and no matter your choice you can't make it 100% right without hindsight. Canada adores you, myself included. Please don't rush it, do what you know is right. <3

So many people have problems who never say it publicly too ![]() Very true. The lifestyle of a pro gamer is very sedentary, and regular exercise of some kind should probably be a requirement from the serious teams. It's about protecting an investment, the player in this case. Many pro gamers probably don't have a background that involved a lot of physical activity, quite a few likely just played games and went to school, so there could very well be a general lack of knowledge and sound routines when it comes to taking care of your body.
