i dont mind the muta wars in zvz i dont really see why its such a priority
the only thing buffing spore damage did was make attacking his mutas with your mutas when he has a spore a bad idea but its still muta wars
if they really want people to stop making mutas in zvz they will need to either buff infestors (remove the projectile or increase fungal dmg vs bio) or increase spore range so its easier to turtle against mutalisks and more punishing to poke in with them
its good they're taking it slow though

You heard it here first guys, not being able to beat EVERYTHING with just purely stimmed marines is just "freaking" stupid.

Instead of nerfing Terran, buffing protoss and zerg could be a better way out. Just saying...
|
I know how they can stop muta wars buff corruptors so they have the ability to bring down air units so ground units like roaches can attack them.
|
It bugs me every time I see "skill" & "oracle" in the same line
Looks like Blizzard gives zero fuck about late game. Zerg's AA is a disaster, Toss' air abusing seems absurd, Mech is still very unsustainable, glass-cannon like

2 WCS qualifiers, 16 spots, 1 Zerg, the problem matchup was clearly ZvZ.

The changes make no sense at all. Still intending to encourage very heavily invested "all or nothing" harass options, and more gimmicky early game choices to promote randomness is not my idea of the right direction to take the game. Vicious cycle of buffs starting with stronger mutas, which then leads to specific potential anti-muta buffs to shift the unit composition trends to their liking. That would be OK, but they don't seem to realize that they will never reach a utopia of balanced unit compositions without something that currently the game completely lacks: micro-able units. Players' abilities should dictate the unit compositions, not how much +bio damage a spore has.
Awful.

PvZ is balanced, it is terran which needs a huge nerf.

Yeah wtf, +Bio on hydras would affect every matchup by a lot.

are they really considering making oracles even faster????? what the actual fuck?????

my gosh...

Disagree with faster oracles. Maybe 10 more shields or something. Disagree with spore change. I havent played much ZvZ, but spores are already REALLY strong against them. I still think zergs need to get an extra queen out in the earlier game to spread creep so that they can go into an earlier 3rd base with hydras + spores.

I'd rather have them do something about corruptors to fix mass muta because that unit is boring as shit.

Mass mutas in any mu is boring, I don't think the muta changes made the game better.

oh right lets just get a 6 minute viking out, because that's viable!

Too early for a patch, I think. Wings patches were much faster, of course, but the game was brand new then - and had some actual game-breaking issues. These changes seem less geared towards fixing problems and more towards steering gameplay in a direction Blizzard likes.

a speed increase is the last fucking thing oracles need. hooooly fuckkkkkkkkkkk
