You didn't play the version of the campaign where the last level includes MVP beating his wrists all while defending continuous attacks from Squirtle?
forgive me, i dont watch a lot of sc2 so i don't know what you're saying here.
all i'm saying is that if they put in actual data like: the race's technology, their population (Stuff like how the Terran have billions of non-fighting citizens or how every single Zerg was bred to kill should be taken into consideration as well), and how their leader behave. They could realistically predict who is going to win at the end with all these data from the campaign of both sc1 and sc2, but no they watch 500 pro sc2 games instead.
Sorry for terrible English, it is not my first language.

I wonder what kind of feedback this would receive if published in Khalani

basically, what they found out is what Starcraft players of all races, have always known since SC vanilla....marines be OP.

in sc vanilla, marines were not op. That only happened when bw added medics ^_^

I love everything about this thread.

Terran has already dominated WOL, in terms of overall TLPD winrates, premier tournament wins, GSL participation, ect...
So to continue to expect there dominance isn't shocking, especially when they receive buffs to Bio to help them in TvP and Infestors get nerfed, helping them in TvZ.
I predict the exact same thing will happen. It will be WOL all over again, and by the time HOTS is done, another race will start dominating, and then get nerfed and Terran will dominate LOTV too.

Team terran always prevails!

ahahaha I thought it might have gone over a few peoples heads...
i just imagined the last level of WoL except kerrigan was replaced with a horrible sprite of MVP 's wrists

I don't know what's sillier, a scientific study, that probably cost thousands of dollars, to point out that Terrans need to win Mid Game or the get steam rolled; when after 2 years of community collaboration we had already figured this out with less money directly involved, or that a bunch of people who can carefully analyze build orders can't carefully read a very brief statistical report.
|
Attach the words "scientific study" to anything and you can turn heads toward whats otherwise a meaningless, mindless pile of statistics.

i believe they said they did this for fun in their spare time

I'm actually wondering now, if there was a huuuuuuugeeeeee map lets say at least 1,000 times larger than our largest map and there was essentially no supply cap (something ridiculous like 10,000 or infinity or something), which race would win?
|
i feel like zerg could do like some 500/500 timing attack before the other races even had like 300 supply lol
|
Haha Cmon, guys. It's not a serious study. It's a half joke about SC2 intended to get you all thinking about science and learning about statistical modeling. Mission...half accomplished.
It's not about who would win the war, it's about applying data to a scientific model.
