A: "MKP did not use a forward Barracks initially. When he faced Soulkey, he did not proxy a Barracks, which let me judge that he would not use such a strategy. So from the first game, I stayed calm, and scouted diligently from the beginning"
Q: "After Squirtle put you in danger of elimination, you faced him again. What was the burden?"
A: "I didn't have a burden. It was an incredible important game because I feel my skill has been declining recently. I was focused purely on winning."
Q: "You qualified for Code S next season. For the HotS season, how are you preparing with gradually transitioning?"
A: "I am slowly learning about the game

A: "I was watching INoVation's games and know he is a great player. But personally his style is easy to decipher and I like playing against that style."

A: "I still prepare my games at home and had explicit orders to not talk to people I do not know well. *

A: "It is good to hear from the the other side "I will win. I will win," which was said a lot, but if you say it a lot, I end up losing (laughs). I want to say I will win, but because this is the last WoL season I will prepare extensively and show off my best."

A: "I want to give a special thanks to director Im Seong-Choon for driving me during a holiday even though his condition isn't great and drove me to my game. I want to thank the director, MC, HerO and Center for helping me practice, and to the other members of my team I would like to say thanks. When I was in TSL, I thought I was the best Zerg. I think one of the best Zergs currently is HyuN. I want to prove that TSL was the Zerg powerhouse of WoL. Symbol started to look a little like his old self today rather than the guy who got dominated by Baby and barely made it back into code S. Innovation might be the hottest terran right now, though, so it'll be pretty tough for him to win imo.

For today's match, I also tried to win by sticking to the basics like I did for the Ro32. The team's on break right now so I went home and thought about the game. I think my hands moved the way I wanted them to pretty well.
Because of health problems you didn't attend the group nominations. How's your current condition?

Did you find your group favorable after the group nominations ended?
I thought I was going to go to Group D but Life didn't pick me. So I did get flustered. So I started thinking that I wanted to join either Group A or Group B and I ended up in Group B. I didn't want to go to Group C so I'm glad that I wasn't sent there. I think I was able to get the group that I wanted.
You started off the first match with a loss against MarineKing. Why did you lose that game?
I wasn't planning on doing an all in. I wanted to improvise as I was playing. I also thought that I had lost the game since our build orders got crossed over. But as I was playing game one I was thinking about game two. So I wasn't really concerned about the loss.
In game three, you found out about MarineKing's proxy strategy a little late.
As I was scouting him I kept on asking myself, "what is he doing?" Although I did kind of anticipate what he was going for. I saw the number of marines he had and his gases so I expected a mech composition. After that, I just prepared a good counter build order.
Was the roach drop a planned out strategy so that you could pressure?
No it was not. The roach drop was not the only thing that I was thinking of. But I was certain that the roach drop was going to work.
In the winners' match against Squirtle, you also started off the match with a loss.
That was my first time playing on Bel'Shir Vestige. I was contemplating way too much about what I was going to do and then I just ended up falling.
You grabbed the victory in game three after killing Squirtle's mothership in the late game. You were in a disadvantageous situation but what was going through your mind?
I did kind of think that I was at a disadvantage. But I believed in the power of my brood lords and my corruptors. I was just trying to bait out a vortex using my corruptors but I luckily killed his mothership. Had he pulled off two vortexes then his attack timing would have fallen right into place so it wouldn't have mattered what I did. But I saw him throw away his stalkers so I felt like I was going to be able to end the match if I attacked.
Your quarter finals opponent will be TaeJa. What do you think will happen?
I don't think I was able to properly show everyone my skills cause I got eliminated way too easily last season in the quarter finals. This time I am going to properly show my skills. To me, it seems like TaeJa is not confident in his TvZ. So I will grab my victory while emitting confidence.
You were able to grab your personal best record. How do you feel about this season?
I think I'll make good results if I keep playing with this kind of feeling. I plan on playing like I did tonight by not over thinking things rather than over thinking like last season.
You also secured your spot for next season's Code S. You will have to prepare for HotS as well shortly.
I've tried HotS. I felt like it was really difficult. Almost to the point where I felt like I wasn't going to be able to win. I think I'm going to have to wait for the other two races to get downgraded a little as I slowly prepare.

Well, I think it is probably something that was started by Kespa. Because Mvp was also a Kespa player in BW so likely there is where he picked it up.
