I've gone through 5 computers, so yeah, I would stay away from computers.
Also gone through at least half a dozen mice, a few game controllers, a few earphones...

Shockingly, it seems that shit breaks down.
That's because you buy poor quality shit. I've had the same mx518 since 2005 and the same pair of beyerdynamic dt770s since 2006.

Or perhaps you're just lacking proper time perspective.
Razer mice are like 80+ dollars and break far quicker than 20 dollar mice. Sure, shelling out the extra 50 dollars might be worth it if you really needed 7 buttons for your thumb, a built in strobe light, shitty RazeR programs for your computer and 13 different DPi settings of which you will only ever use 1. Razer is exactly like Alienware, very average/below average quality with insanely marked up prices because of branding and flashy logos. I'm sure the reason Razer is sponsoring so many teams is because no one would use their crappy equipment unless they were paid to.
My razer deathadder 3500dpi ed is still working perfectly after 3 years of use, just as my Razer Lycosa. The deathadder has been carried around in a bag for 3 years straight so I don't know how you guys manage to break it.
This is all used with my Alienware m17x which has the best quality feel I ever got from a notebook. Not only that the Alienware is not overpriced because if you are not stupid you put your own ssd and ram in it etc. + it got the best screen on the market + HDMI in (rare thing) + you can just upgrade the gpu/cpu if outdated.
stop saying this kind of stuff when you obviously don't know what you're talking about.
Razer and Steelseries both have decent designs and sometimes decent sensors, but their mice do not last long.
stop using your deathadders as baseballs? but seriously how do you break a deathadder. I had mine for 3 years and it never broke while also travelling with it. It still works perfectly.
I haven't met a person who hasn't had a problem with their lycosa. I like the feel of it but it fks up so much its kind of annoying.
Used it for at least 3 years no problem at all. On the contrary it never let me down, the touchpad worked perfectly just as macro's. Maybe I'm lucky . Now using the razer blackwidow stealth tournament edition, feels like high quality to me.

Because you happen to know the timeframe in which his friend went through his deathadders, right? If his friend went through all three of those deathadders within six months, he either has issues with maintaining his equipment or the product is shoddy.

In 8 years of having my own computer i now own my second one (and its still working for everything i want to play, new games would probably run on medium settings okish)
In that time i have had 3 mice but only one was actually broken so i had to replace it. Razer Viper (2005-2008 RIP) Logitech MX518 (2008-NOW Still 100% working) And a Razer Naga which was a present, i've used that mouse for about 5 hours after setting it aside.
I have been using this controller for seven years aswell:
My Keyboard is 8 years old aswell.
The only thing which i replaced "frequently" where headsets, where i had three to four, they were of really poor quality and all of them together didn't cost as much as a "high-quality" headset.
If you are using your stuff carefuly i dont see a reason for it breaking that often, even if its in use daily.

If it breaks that often, shouldn't you be buying from a different brand..? Seems logical to me.
The mouse is pretty good overall. Considering the amount of wear and tear I put on it, 1 day of gaming for me is probably equivalent to 2-3 days for an average gamer, so I am okay with putting more money for replacement mice.
pls, i beg you, did you even listen to that interview? it was all a joke, i mean, just listen 1 minute before atleast to know that the whole interview was a joke. How can you take this even serious???

Not to mention the original claim was "after bashing Razer with every occasion" when only one or two exist in the years he was sponsored by SS
Yeah I don't post often here but I felt the need to after seeing people bashing the death adder. Mine has been working perfectly for going on three years now without a single problem. The only razor product I have ever had a problem with was my first gen carcharias headset, and I have since moved onto a Logitech g35. As far as key and mouse go, razer is just as quality as any other high end brand if you ask me, and no other mouse has ever felt more natural in my hand than the adder.
So yeah, they are good mice, but haters gonna hate of course.
