This all kind of makes sense, except for the part where you do "terrible terrible damage" to the women's scene by smurfing as a women in an all-women's tournament. That's not helping you, that's not helping her (except to give her bragging rights beyond "the GM balla lifestyle") and it only does tremendous harm to a scene where women players are few and far between.
You don't always have to be a saint, but there's a difference between not being a saint and basically ruining the sanctity of a competition and ruining other people's chances to make it in this scene.
Again, I don't think you should be banned for life or anything, but saying on "TL, I'm a bad person, I came forward, forgive me" doesn't really cut it. Take a 5 month break from major competition or something if you really want to prove you're sorry. People will remember you when you come back and you'll be in everyone's good graces again.

First of all, I'm glad I got caught and I can finally end this - My intentions were to help grow e-sports which I achieved through running Z33K.TV, but this has obviously turned out horribly wrong and has accomplished the complete opposite to what my intentions were:
I'm a masters Zerg player and needed coaching to help me to get to Grandmasters. I contacted a website for a coach and was put in touch with Deathangel. However, instead of coaching, we discussed that he'd boost my account to Grandmasters to give me that initial boost to help me.
Once it got to grandmasters, he continued to play the account for me regularly to keep bonus pool down/keep it active. While this happened, I put up a coaching profile to coach people. As I had never coached people, I did numerous hours of free coaching on my stream. This was known to Deathangel.
While this happened, Deathangel continued to play the account and I tried to do some coaching etc. In total, I had 3 paid coaching students. Any feedback on coaching I received was from free coaching and NOT paid coaching. I have since refunded those students and apologise if it was not helpful.
As people requested to see me stream, I asked Deathangel to stream on the account for me. He streamed regularly but charged $20-$30 an hour for each stream he did. Outside of streaming, each game that Deathangel played, he charged $3 per game, and as he regularly played for me, he did mini-discounts.
When I was invited to play any event - Millenium Girl Tournament & AGL Invitational - that he played, he took the entire prize, which I have also refunded to the organisers - I am sorry for this being under false pretenses. I have refunded the money that I never received as I gave it to DeathAngel.
We subsequently agreed to play Showmatches and he was very happy to do them - I gave him 100% of the prizes. I did not invoice SixPoolGaming for the showmatch against Sjow or Cytoplasm and so never received any money from them - However, I sent the relevant prize to DeathAngel immediately. I never received the MilleniumTV Tarson Showmatch money (yet), but I have already sent him the prize for that.
The entire thing was a terrible idea, and I apologise to all people who were hurt by this.
I am especially sorry to Z33K.TV and Z33K.Com as I grew the casting organisation with the casters and am sorry to leave it. Rifkin, Badfatpanda, Pengwin, and the rest - You guys were so close to me and this spiralled out of control. I am happy to step away from my position as head of Z33K.TV and will happily assist in any handover procedures necessary.
I am also sorry to sixpoolgaming.com for any damage caused to their reputation - they are a great site and helped me so much and I apologise to them.
What I have said here is 100% the truth from my perspective, and thus I do not intend to make any follow up posts regarding this - I am happy to step away from the Starcraft 2 Community in a professional capacity and bid you all farewell.

His claim that he wanted to get showmatches makes no sense because none of the people watching knew it was him, so there was no way for him to actually gain anything (exposure, more matches, etc.) through his play. There are lots of players out there deserving of a chance at the spotlight and DeathAngel/Veralynn took advantage of the concept of a woman gamer to steal that chance from others. Either way it's pretty shady and fucked up.
I don't think he really needs to be punished for life - he didn't cheat or anything. But, looking at those records provided by Kawaii, this was a pretty shady and coordinated operation between the two (even if poorly thought out). I really don't see how this was some innocent mistake on DA's part.
I can actually understand wanting the showmatches. You just want the pressure, the intensity of the mindgames of a BoX. Same reason clans have CWs with each other for no purpose. It's more for the thrill of the experience.

I would never got into any showmatch anyway because I don't posses a vagina , but thank you for comming with this smart idea sir , 100 hats down to you. Yeah because Sjow, DesRow and ToD all have vaginas right? I think the point is behind you -- splattered on the wall. It'd appear it went over your head. He comes off to me like he's entitled to be in showmatches for whatever reason. Most players get in showmatches because they work their ass off and make a name for themselves. Some get there because of their gender its how it works because its what brings in viewers. Look at what he said in his post "and I never got the chance to play in any showmatch on my own.. never got invited..". Here's a question why should he get invited? Most people probably didn't even know who he was until today. He comes off to me like he's pointing out the irony that at his level no one really cares to see him play high level show matches -- yet you put a vagina into the mix and suddenly everyone is interested. I think you're extruding a lot of assumptions out of bias. I'm sorry, but who really wants to see a showmatch featuring a relatively unknown mid tier EU GM? Obviously a vagina is going to draw more attention in a penis dominated sport. People need to get over the extra attention some girls get in the scene. They are inherently more unique than most male gamers and obviously that will help them get some attention, there's nothing really wrong with that, nor is it ironic. It's called supply and demand.

DeathAngel is an accomplice no matter how you look at this.

Well, I might be stupid for it, but I'm gonna say from the little bit of evidence put in front of me, that I actually think DeathAngel might have just tangled up in something a bit above him.
There is the interesting point - his performances clearly merited the showmatches he played in. Why can't he get showmatches against people? His English is not up to the level of being able to 'network' like people have written repeatedly. Seems like he is someone who could have done with a team to firstly market him, and secondly guide him.
My two cents
Edit: with the post above by Vera, whoops, I am stupid

That is where the difference is. It is one thing to make money from power leveling someone to GM, and a whole different matter to promote some else's brand (in this case a female) in order to generate stream revenue for that person and in turn to help set up show matches for that person through that stream, and then play in those show matches for even more money. I am not saying you should be banned, etc. And I am sure eventually your reputation will be restored, but for the time being, giving the full story would help a lot more than playing mostly ignorant. I am not claiming you like drama. What I am saying is that you can't sit there and give a super long explanation (trying to exonerate yourself by claiming ignorance etc) but leave stuff out of your explanation. Multiple people have asked you the same questions, which are the holes in your story which I am referring to. I myself asked as well, why stream for her? Why enter tournaments for her? When all you cared about was using a smurf (which you had multiples of according to you) and to play in a show match (which you didn't earn like the people you played against - that did not have vaginas), why even bother with that other stuff? Also why not answer the question about if you accepted money, for any part of this what-so-ever. You may not know about her paid coaching, but everything else are questions you should be able to answer and will in fact LOWER the amount of drama you experience since everything will be out in the open. It may be damaging to admit to some, but pleading ignorant when its becoming pretty clear you were not is going to make things so much worse. I am all for you eventually being forgiven, but if this is how you handle it, you may ruin that in many peoples eyes (not sure why some people are taking your explanation as a positive, if examined and thought about critically, there are way too many holes in the story).

Once it got to grandmasters, he continued to play the account for me regularly to keep bonus pool down/keep it active. While this happened, I put up a coaching profile to coach people. As I had never coached people, I did numerous hours of free coaching on my stream.
Z33K.TV grew to cast Dreamhack Valencia, TSL Qualifiers, Pokerstrategy.com League and run its own $1,000 Team league and If I had stopped it earlier, perhaps we could've continued on to grow it more - I apologise for misleading you like this.
You talk a lot about money in this post, but this was about more than money. This was about integrity. Honesty. I'd also say sportsmanship, or even e-sportsmanship. They say the road to hell is paved with good intentions, but if you're smurfing your way along the road I don't think anyone will ever believe that everything you did, you did for esports. Deathangel obviously was paid for his services, and you obviously benefited from them. Watching your interviews, and seeing how easily you lie and denigrate other female players (who Deathangel beat), I don't believe your tone in this message. Your and his fingerprints are all over this affair, and everything you did is stained with the lack of integrity you exhibited.
Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
