My intentions were to help grow e-sports
Growing e-sports doesn't involve lying about your actual rank, and cheating in tournaments and showmatches. You knew full well what you were getting yourself into. You did this for yourself and your own ego. If you knew it was a terrible idea, why did you cheat other legit players out of money and fame several times? Because you loved the attention, which can be seen by your arrogance and bragging in interviews. You are very self-centered and I'm not buying your "apology".

I'm a masters Zerg player and needed coaching to help me to get to Grandmasters. I contacted a website for a coach and was put in touch with Deathangel. However, instead of coaching, we discussed that he'd boost my account to Grandmasters to give me that initial boost to help me.
Once it got to grandmasters, he continued to play the account for me regularly to keep bonus pool down/keep it active. While this happened, I put up a coaching profile to coach people. As I had never coached people, I did numerous hours of free coaching on my stream. This was known to Deathangel.
While this happened, Deathangel continued to play the account and I tried to do some coaching etc. In total, I had 3 paid coaching students. Any feedback on coaching I received was from free coaching and NOT paid coaching. I have since refunded those students and apologise if it was not helpful.
As people requested to see me stream, I asked Deathangel to stream on the account for me. He streamed regularly but charged $20-$30 an hour for each stream he did. Outside of streaming, each game that Deathangel played, he charged $3 per game, and as he regularly played for me, he did mini-discounts.
When I was invited to play any event - Millenium Girl Tournament & AGL Invitational - that he played, he took the entire prize, which I have also refunded to the organisers - I am sorry for this being under false pretenses. I have refunded the money that I never received as I gave it to DeathAngel.
We subsequently agreed to play Showmatches and he was very happy to do them - I gave him 100% of the prizes. I did not invoice SixPoolGaming for the showmatch against Sjow or Cytoplasm and so never received any money from them - However, I sent the relevant prize to DeathAngel immediately. I never received the MilleniumTV Tarson Showmatch money (yet), but I have already sent him the prize for that.
The entire thing was a terrible idea, and I apologise to all people who were hurt by this.
I am especially sorry to Z33K.TV and Z33K.Com as I grew the casting organisation with the casters and am sorry to leave it. Rifkin, Badfatpanda, Pengwin, and the rest - You guys were so close to me and this spiralled out of control. Z33K.TV grew to cast Dreamhack Valencia, TSL Qualifiers, Pokerstrategy.com League and run its own $1,000 Team league and If I had stopped it earlier, perhaps we could've continued on to grow it more - I apologise for misleading you like this.
I am happy to step away from my position as head of Z33K.TV and will happily assist in any handover procedures necessary.
I am also sorry to sixpoolgaming.com for any damage caused to their reputation - they are a great site and helped me so much and I apologise to them.
What I have said here is 100% the truth from my perspective, and thus I do not intend to make any follow up posts regarding this - I am happy to step away from the Starcraft 2 Community in a professional capacity and bid you all farewell.
So your side is "I haven't done anything bad, all money went to DeathAngel, poor me just wanted to grow eSports." give me a break, both of you are just accusing each other. You either write here the truth or don't bother typing more bs from your ass (sorry for the lang). Your popularity in the eSports industry won't make it bigger your argument is invalid.

I am a bad guy.. that's why I did this , I am not perfect.. I will never be.. I will be like this all my life I guess , I don't like being a saint
but I never thought ppl would came to book coaching from veralynn.. I thought vera likes to brag with her gm account and feels good like a gosu girl acting in balla style and being happy .. I was always skeptic about paid coaching.. seemed to me like ppl wanted only freecoaching and because veralynn was missing some aspects in the coaching.. they would just keep theyr mouths shut to be nice guys.. and continue.. but never pay for any coaching.. didn't even seemed to me like vera was interested in money.. but mostly in having a good time.. as the guy above posted.. she didn't even took the money that I won in the showmatches.. she refused it
my opinion.. she wanted to feel the GM balla lifestyle
I am an evil person , but I didn't wanted to make ppl donate millions of dollars to veralynn.. I would rather ask ppl to take coaching from me and make money myself :D
but I asked vera and she told me that ppl didn't took many paid coaching lessons from her as ppl say here .. so I really don't know who is right here.. I would mostly believe her.. rlly
If you thought she just wanted to be 'baller' then why did you stream for her? Why did you play in online tournaments for her? That was to benefit you (as you said you kept the money). I am glad you are at least admitting this. This is the only post of yours I think will give you some benefit. I do think it would have been much better, instead of saying you thought she wanted to be a GM baller, that you knew she was doing this for more than that as she asked you to stream for her (which makes her money, and is not needed if she just wanted to show off to her friends she was in GM - aka now you know she is making money off of it, and unfaithfully at that) and play for her in tourneys/show matches (which helps you make money just like u power leveling her, and also helps her make money on her stream for becoming more famous in the community - you have to have understood that even if you didn't know about the lessons).

So, it begins. Both people are accusing the other now. I can no longer trust either. The post by Veralynn seems more reasonable and is probably more correct. Possible for sure, on the other hand you see a native English speaker who has shown an ability to bareface lie on community podcasts and the like talking about the issue, vs a non-native speaker. Of course she's going to appear more convincing Any grammatical issues aside, DA's story is full of holes and misinformation... TBH at this point neither of them should be fully trusted.. I didn't really see any holes in his logic, bar playing the all-woman tournament which would go against his 'wanting to experience showmatch' justification.
He's been a bit shady, but I would feel it a shame if he was cast out. Major has smurfed at tournaments, indeed Koreans were apparently infamous for it in BW. Censure is probably needed, but imo not a full ban like Spades got

Veralynn says she wants e-sports to grow... how would that be? You miss, you're really killing e-sports.

Doesn't really matter too much what her motivations were. She knew full well what she was doing was wrong at the time (both of them did). They broke the communities trust with them. None of us need to "buy" their apology.

Oh god, the latest big fiasco >.<
Uh oh.....hope DA will turn out alright. Seems like the issue has practically been settled already after she already admitted it, but hope the consequences won't be necessarily career-ending for anyone here.

The penalty is already on and you will feel it in the past days. I just cannot imagine why would you throw your progamer career for boosting someones account and get paid to farm for the account, are you happy now ?

Legally speaking both of them could be indited for crimes including fraud.
I would sue them if I was actually a part of this situation, and I would especially go after this girl because she really thinks she is home free. It's actually quite funny that both these individuals assume that they won't have an legal trouble in regards to the situation.
KawaiiRice, seriously get a lawyer and fuck these people over

If death angle's excuse is she wanted the gm balla lifestyle and impersonating a girl player for money then i vote that we don't shun deathangle but just percieve him to have a vagina now,.... that is all

oh, stop it for Christ sake. It's pretty obvious you too had some kind of arrangement with Vera and it got uncovered (by men, interestingly enough). It's really despicable how naturally you displace blame.

There are 2 things that I did wrong - One financial and one moral/ethical.
I can rectify the financial situation by issuing refunds
![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/zhCve.png)
Those who received refunds can confirm the above should they wish.
I cannot fully rectify or answer the moral/ethical questions - I have done what I see is all I can do retrospectively by giving the entire truth of the situation.
Again, I do not intend on responding unless it is necessary.

They should just disappear from the community. There's really no need for more drama from either one and the scene would be better off without both of them.
Meanwhile we have two transgendered players taking each other on in the MSCL. We should all be watching that and supporting our community's transgendered pros (which is something most gaming communities don't have), instead of dealing with these two pathologically lying clowns.

The first line sounded like a something from a porno.
Anyways, after your back tomorrow, show us proof from your side so we can trust you when you say never trust women. From what I see, your as guilty as she is.

i love how now shes trying to bring DA down with her i feel bad for him in this predicament if he really was just trying to see if he could compete against top names then again skimming code A you would think he knew... idk i feel bad for him no sympathy for her i feel she cheated a lot of people and is now throwing DA as far under the bus as she can just out of spite of being caught
