600 bucks for a room in Poland, sharing a house with a bunch of other dudes?
My appartement is 400 bucks, for 60 m², that's two rooms, a roomy bathroom and a large kitchen. And I don't have to live in Poland. The remaining 200 Euro would buy 110 pounds of cheese, or 300 liters of milk, or 150 kilos of carrots, or 300 kilos of potatoes, or 75 kilos of chicken, or 20 kilos of chocolate, so I could eat like a king every day of the month from that.
There is no fucking way the additional streaming revenues are remotely justified and the Chat-Log makes me not want to support any member of the MoW-house in any way, shape or form.

Since I'm seeing that a lot, I'd like to add that those 10 years are pretty common in more "unusual" businesses. It doesn't matter if it's the pickup industry, NLP, poker or general self-improvement. Those who are successful in those areas can afford to insist on such conditions, mostly because apparently not everyone has figured it out in the way they have.
Hell, people who attend my workshops on like mobbing or teamwork have to sign a short document where they state that they won't conduct workshops in that area for the next 5 years minimum. If I'd work on an actual training program for a gaming house it makes sense to aim for at least 10 years simply because the e-sports industry is horribly backwards about this type of stuff and not well-developed at all. Being ahead of everyone else directly translates into lots of profit in an area like this.
Obviously none of us (including the OP) can tell how much their concepts are "worth" but they have all the right in the world to protect them. What I'm wondering about personally is why the OP didn't sign any contracts before moving to Poland. And why did he pay them in cash without getting any receipt? I'm really curious about the statement from MoW, but I don't think it makes sense to shift all the blame on them and seeing the OP as a completely innocent sheep.

For those people who dont know anything about european prices etc...What are 600 €
Swizerland: u can´t even affort your food per month for 600€ not to mention any kind of living or dont even think of having good food. a small cup of coffee costs about 7sFr(5€/6,5dollar)
the Same with Sweden Norway/maybe GB;
Austria/Germany/FR/North of Italy: you could affor the rent for a very small appartement if it is not in the center of a town or anywhere near a famous street or building or sight. but thats it no food or anything.... PL/Czech rep./Hungary/mb a few other eastern european countries: 600€ is enough. and they get that from every player + sponsors.
[/QUOTE]
That's basically only true for Switzerland and Citys like London, Paris or Munich. You could get over 100m² in Berlin for 600€. And I rarely pay more than 200€ for food per month, even though I eat quite a lot.

With that said, and hopefully, you sitting comfortably, calm, and willing to believe in both parties as honest, can I just point out that while normally, community outrage and sponsor writing is a despicable, cowardly way of getting back at people you don't like, I was surprised to see nobody suggest getting in touch with Razer, Twitch, or others, asking them to comment on their support or role within an organisation that is currently being dragged through the mud?
I don't have any idea if Fuzer is in the right or the wrong here, we should wait and see if more information comes out before we act rashly. Regardless of prior history, the past should have little or no bearing on how we think of this isolated situation.
But for all of you who are arguing the legal side of this matter, its somewhat pointless. MoW has financials and, presumably, a legal team. I doubt Fuzer is willing or able to pony up the costs to pursue that sort of action on his own, and if he was, I would presume that it would be difficult and not a path through which he could guarantee a satisfactory conclusion.
However as a community, if it becomes CLEARLY AND DEFINITELY APPARENT that our devotion to a game we love, and a community we want to build, has been taken advantage of, and has resulted in legal, but dubious/immoral tactics being used to take advantage of people, this would be one of the very few times in eSports history where writing to the sponsors would be justified. Razer branding is all over the MoW. Regardless of if the MoW would win a legal case, it isn't worth it to them to have their reputation damaged by this if its clear that while the legal grounds may favour MoW, the moral grounds could favour Fuzer.
What I'm saying is, wait and see what happens, and don't judge either side until we know all the details we're likely to find out overall. At that point, if those people who have read the entirety of the available literature, and who are reasonable, are of the opinion that MoW are in the MORAL wrong, if not the legal wrong (Since none of us are lawyers, stop fucking pretending), then a well worded, direct but not aggressive, letter or email to those parties with a vested interest in MoW's broader reputation, may be in order.

Best post yet. Clearly an educated post.
Thank you! That was what i was trying to say earlier. So many ppl here have no idea what they are talking about...
