just because A (what blue did) is wrong doesn't mean B (destiny sharing nude pics in a chat) must be right. Yet, Destiny is/ or rather wants to be/ a publicish figure and so he needs to bear the consequences of his behaviour, which might be a harder hit for his carreer than for that of this girl. That's life.

I wonder what would have happened were the chick in question not so tech savvy or involved in gaming. I mean Bluetea was initially Destiny's 2v2 partner for some LAN (I don't remember if they actually attended or not), in fact I even played against them on ladder when they were practicing a very long time ago. I guess it was his mistake to cross a person that actually had some knowledge of his internet life and was thus capable of something like this. Because if it was just some random chick with no internet presence, we wouldn't be talking about this now.

That strikes me as a privacy issue, not a gender issue. And as far as being a random poster on TL, you're just as guilty as he is, does that mean neither of you are allowed to discuss this? People can talk about things because we're human beings.

Good, I'm glad this happened (although that's with my bias towards Destiny in full force.) And as much as I dislike Catz, he made the proper business decision here and went forward with the team in mind. Best of luck to the dudes on ROOT in the future, hopefully something good happens.
Also, I'm still a bit on the fence as to whether or not I'm a fan of people contacting sponsors. With incidents such as this one and Orb - I think I'm okay with it. The scene doesn't need this shit to happen and I'm glad it's getting resolved, albeit in a harsh way.

what i find incredible is that people don't even bother reading the OP. just the OP. everything is there: she's not 15. he didn't leak her pictures. picture he discussed with TT1 and Fayth wasn't nude picture.

Yeah, really cant follow root anymore. I liked the team because it was made in the grass roots amongst friends, but then they just kind of throw destiny under the bus even though he didnt do anything wrong-- and what he did do, how does it differ from fayth and tt1? I dont see how how being the individual who sends a pic is in anyway more morally objectionable than asking for it. I thought ROOT had some balls, but obviously not. Teams have to grow a back bone and defend their players from the holier than thou mob mentality thats destroying the scene.
