you can be sure, that the code s seeds will go to roro + rain/hero... I wonder how Kespa will act, once this OSL season is over. I really can't imagine that this is the end here. There will be consequences for the esF players to make sure, that KESPA is not again driven in that kind of situation...

That was the best possible outcome, glad they worked it out.

Next time it would be simple for Kespa to not invite ESF players and have no worry of participating in the GSL. In this case the community outrage would also be less, as Kespa wouldn't try to get Non-Kespa players into their league and not join Kespa at the same time. An isolated Kespa wouldn't cause outrage I think.

ESF just won. Everything. Ever. Fantastic decision making and balls of steel led to the situation being resolved as perfectly as possible.
Congrats to all involved, now let's put this mess behind us and all get along in peace and harmony ^_^

The shit is finally settled...for now

Serve you right Kespa, i hope it teaches them a lesson and that anything like that won't happen again !

Sanity prevailed for once.
I just hope it isn't the last time.

Now the real SC2 story can start. With the complete player pool available, two premium leagues and the (first) expansion on the horizon, the future looks bright.
|
OSL Season 2 Will be KeSPA players only. There's no way they would want to deal with this shit again.

Sweet! let the games begin!

It seems incredibly silly to think that two years into sc2 players can use achievements in a different game to get seeds into the top 32 of the world.
More importantly thou then the question of if they deserve it is that this means two should be code s players are getting forced to stay in code a or were refused seeds they deserved.
I hate politics.
Giving six seeds, two of them for Code-S, is a sign of goodwill and ensures we will see some Kespa players regardless of their performance in Code-B. Since it is possibly a one-time seeding of Kespa players, I think it is a great decision.

That would be nice and all...but I fear Kespa is not going to appreciate this strong-arming. I have a feeling there are going to repercussions in the future.

First it would be GSL 6 as the OSL has twice the length. Second that wouldn't be the same. The same would be if GSL had power over the Non-Kespa players and forbid them to enter the OSL.

TBH i think Kespa may have just been testing the water to see what they could get away with.

Good news. Would rather they weren't handed seeds though, would be fun to watch them come through the qualifiers. But it was always going to happen, and there will probably be a lot come through the qualifiers anyway.

Tune in for Episode V: The Kespa strikes back!
