GOM isn't ESF. They'd be overwhelming the ESF players, not GOM, who is only a tournament organizer, like OGN.

Read again what you wrote.... Took out means that they were already in it in the first place. So ESF, not GOM which you are blaming, is not allowed to have their players not compete in OSL but KESPA can have their players not compete in GSL, how is that not the definition of hypocritical? I said KESPA can have their players not complete, yes the first time I misstated, but i rephrased it as you can see above and you restated that I said took their players out which as you can see in the post I did not. esf would have hurt ogn(maybe cancel event, FIRST SC2 OSL!!) more than kespa hurting gomtv(disappointing hyped fans). osl was already set. gsl4 didnt even start. This was started by KESPA not competing in GSL4, everything that followed was a result of this decision and therefore the blame belongs to KESPA. ...and who is disputing that? no one from what i can see. but to say what esf did is on par with what kespa did...not even close. I dispute it. There was no conflict until ESF threw a fit and held the OSL for ransom. Well then, you are either an idiot or being deliberately obtuse for whatever reason. There needs to be a 'Dont fuck me, I wont fuck you'-policy established as soon as possible - KeSPA not letting their players play GSL4 was, very clearly, a dick move. How goes retirement? I like your contribution here

IMAGINE:
GSL Up and Downs, Code As, and Code S tournaments populated by 95-100% Kespa players. That would be sweet revenge! lol
(If they prove to be in that skill level already)

Lets hope it never comes to that then.
If Kespa becomes the main company in SC2 over there like they did in BW. Then I would have to stop watching SC2 korean tournaments and just stick to the foreign tournaments like MLG, Dreamhack, IEM, etc.

i do wonder what will happen when next season's gsl starts and few kespa players are seeded in code a/s. then those players will have to play osl, pl, gsl plus other tournaments like wcs, wcg and perhaps mlg. repeat of gom/mbc/ogn? i really hope they take care of scheduling conflicts with good communications.

Picture this: The KeSPA pros dominate the korean scene and force all of the current ESF pros to move out of korea, where they consequently completely dominate the foreign tourneys. This forces the foreigners to korea to train, where their different metagame and sheer numbers shocks and overwhelms the KeSPA pros, creating a viscous cycle.

I just hope GOM doesn't go anywhere. I mean its because of them that SC2 is where it is today in Korea. Around the world? GOM deserves to be the main company for SC2, not Kespa. Even though this is just a dream, but, I would hope Blizzard would fight for GOM if it came down to it.

Let's make a bet on this. I call
OGN > GOM!

Wow. I'm very surprised Kespa caved. I wonder how hard they were pressured by sponsors & Blizzard. Even so, I'm surprised they budged at all after the initial concession. Good news for everyone.

Hell no, if anything, Kespa should join GOM. I'm sure majority of people do NOT want a repeat of BW with Kespa.

too much to do in sc2 scene would be my guess(ogn+), like the reason for not entering gsl 4.

only joke, i highly doubt gomtv would join kespa because of their history. but just saying, gomtv alongside ogn and split the korean market with closer ties with kespa teams.
